Saturday of the 2nd Week in Ordinary Time. THEY WENT OUT TO LAY HOLD ON HIM.

 1. They went out to lay hold on Him.
Christ was performing miracles and speaking words of wisdom and his own relatives thought He was crazy and searched for Him to keep Him quiet. These events in the New Testament are repeatedly read to Catholics to remind them that these will happen again today. How it will happen is the eschatological message of each Gospel which preachers are supposed to explain in their homilies and of which nobody is doing today even by Pope Francis in Casa Martha.
The eschatological meaning of the Gospel is explained by the Fathers of the Church and no Catholic is supposed to be ignorant of them. The Gospel today shows us that what happened then is still happening today, just as described in the Gospel. Showing that the eschatological explanations made by the Fathers on the Gospel is right.

2. The Gospel for Saturday of the 2nd week in Ordinary Time.
It is, also, the commemoration of the feast of Sts. Timothy and Titus. Both worked closely with St. Paul, the first as bishop of Ephesus, the other as bishop of Crete. They were exemplars of good preachers like Christ. There was no defect in them. In which case when  things go wrong, it is always with the listeners.
Thus St. Thomas of Aquinas emphasised the importance of the state of perfection required from bishops. It is inexcusable that the defect be in the preachers. The defect is expected to come from the listeners.
Thus St. Thomas wrote; First, Christ, chose His first apostles. Secondly, He led them to a house. Thirdly, He admonished them to retire to look on their own consciences.

3. The listeners.
Listeners to a good preaching may be divided into..........
First, those who are proud and, therefore, ungrateful. This hinders them from attaining knowledge from Christ's teachings.
Second, the grateful, who exert efforts to learn Divine things even if they prevent good preachers from eating and sleeping.
Thirdly, those with slowness of intellect. This is a psycho-physical defect which is not man's fault.
Fourthly, the blasphemers who think that the things of Christ are from the devil.

4. The images in the Gospel.
The house where Christ led the apostles is the Catholic Church. It is only there where they can attain the perfection that will enable them to preach well. There must be no defect in their presentation of Christ's doctrines and morals. The defect must come from the beliefs of the listeners which cannot be avoided.
The crowd that was preventing the apostles from resting and eating are the sins and vices that the preachers are confronting among the listeners.
The scribes are those who will always find something wrong in all good things.
The relatives are those who will silence those who speak the truth labelling them as 'out of their mind.'
The people looking for Christ and the apostles are those who by the grace, are searching for the truth.

5. Pope Francis is accusing all seekers of the truth as 'out of their minds', or other words to that effect. England had, in fact, published a book on insults by which Pope Francis had insulted all defenders of the truth, from being 'out of touch' to being Pelagians.
Priest who preach the truth are sentenced to psycho wards so much so they had to escape from their diocese and hide to avoid being sentenced by their bishops.
Pope Francis and his Francisbishops have reached a point where they are committing sins against the Holy Spirit because of their insinuation that the work of God is the work of the devil. Why do you think Archbishop Vigano is in hiding after he wrote his famous 11-page exposé? What happened in the Gospel is happening right now.

THE COVINGTON AFFAIR . The Catholic students and the Bishops.

 1.  Words of Christ.
Christ said; 'Whoever shall confess Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in heaven. And whoever shall deny Me before men, him will I also deny before My Father which is in heaven.'
'To confess Me' means to obey My commandments or to believe in what  Christ said.' 'Before men' means what I believe and my obedience to the commands of Christ must be expressed before other men.
If you do so, Christ, Himself, will claim you as His follower before God the Father.
On the other hand, if you disobey the commands of Christ or do not believe in what Christ taught; and you show this to other people, then Christ will attest to God the Father that you are not His follower.
This Gospel text from St. Matthew 10:32 will be our bases for analysing the events at the Lincoln Memorial on the day of the March for Life, USA.

2. The March for Life.
God is the author of Life and Death. God gave man life to give him the occasion to merit heaven. And Death is the end of God's testing man. God decides when man dies but the manner of his death will depend on God's discretion that will benefit man's soul the most.
Death which entered the world because of sin was used by the devil to install fear in man. The fear of death will be used by the devil to destroy souls. Man is supposed to fear God, not death. But the devil tempts man to fear death instead of God. And this temptation will lead man to hell.
Though God is the author of both life and death, the devil had always used the fear of death to destroy souls. Thus to kill one's neighbour is an act authored by the devil. But whether it is accomplished or not is in the hands of God.
Life comes from the direct Will of God; while death is from the permissive Will of God. Being from the direct Will of God, the Church celebrates the March for Life, 'Thou will be done.'

3. The incident in the Lincoln Memorial.
A group of High school Catholic students from the Covington Catholic High School in Kentucky had just attended the March for Life and were waiting for their bus ride back home when they found themselves faced with a group of another group of demonstrators of indigenous tribe and a group of black Israelites.
Then all hell broke loose against the young students. All because of a picture. There was nothing wrong in the picture except that there was a man unshaven and long haired. There were joyous young boys in the background.
The hell that broke loose all came from the inside. From the evil that is inside fallen human nature. Christ said so. Nothing from the outside; but things from the inside, from the heart that comes out that is evil.
Evil was spewing out of mass media, from actors, from majors, from indigenous tribes, from pagans, Protestants, from black Jews (?) All of these were directed towards the young Catholic students. All of these were expected. After all the youth were attending the March for Life.
All the hatred for everything in the world were focused towards the young students. It is like kicking the chair out of frustration. Why the chair? Because it is there. And the young Catholic students were just there.

4. The news is now telling what really happened.
The lies still prevail but the truth is slowly coming up. It was a battle between the truth and the lies. Sinners who are the majority the world are clinging to the lies. The very few goods are being enlightened by the reveal truth.
The truth is this. The indigenous and the black Jews were throwing expletives towards the Catholic Youth, under the pretence that they were wearing 'Make America great again' hats. But really just because they were good.
And a boy, Nick Sandmann, stood composed before the adult indigenous man with a slight smile. Later on, the boy explained that he was just saying a little prayer, as all good Catholic do when they need God's help,  to defuse the aggressive behaviour of the two groups spewing expletives.

5. How did the youth behaved especially the one young boy in the picture.
He obeyed the command of Christ. He confessed his Catholic Faith in the importance to maintain life. And he confessed that truth before the indigenous indian and in front of insulting Jews.
He did not defend himself with expletives or arguments. He did so with a silent prayer in his heart and a calm composure in his stance.
St. Thomas of Aquinas wrote that such an act of confessing a belief in a teaching of Christ can come from grace alone. That is not humanly possible. Not for a young boy in front of threats from aggressive adults.

6. The dismaying picture.
The Catholic administration of the Catholic school, their bishop Joseph Foys and several US bishops like Stowe, together with all the pagans, atheist, heretics, etc...joined to condemn the clearly innocent and, in fact, Catholic behaviour of the Catholic youth. How come? They disobeyed the commandment of Christ.
They had no Faith, that is why they  refused to confess Christ before man. These bishops and school administration denied Christ before man. For whatever reason is unimportant; but they had no Faith, in which case they were not truly Catholic since they lacked the fourth visible signs of the true Church, 'Apostolic'. Since they did not have one sign, they would not have the other three visible signs. Dare those bishops and administrators to prove that they are Catholic and they won't be able to prove it. Bet you.
The issue is; who was on the side of Christ and who was against Christ. 'You are either for Me or against Me.' The behaviour of the two sides is clear. It is time for the last testing and the two, the youth and the bishops, have taking their stand.
Christ have also taken His stand. He who confesses Me before men, I will confess before My Father in Heaven. He who denies Me before men I will deny before My Father in Heaven.

7.    St. Thomas quotes more Gospel lines to show certainty that Christ's command was well obeyed. Christ said; 'if you obey this command well, you will get more persecution. From your loved ones, from the press, from Jews, from indigenous, etc. And true enough the young boys and their families have received many threats from that time on and continues to do so up to the present time. They really confessed Christ before men very, very well. Shame on those bishops. They even became part of the persecutors.
Christ, in the Gospel of Matthew, clearly said that continuous persecution will follow those who confess Christ before men.

8. The aggressive behaviour towards the Catholic Youth.
The Catholic church had been treated that way since the beginning of her birth. That is expected; there is nothing new there. It would have been strange if they were kind to the young kids, like if Pelosi acts nicely towards Trump. That is wishing the impossible.
This is not the problem. It is expected and more is to come.
Many are defending the Covington youth because it is beginning to appear that they were right and good. And men of good will sees that. But we have presented the true theological issue in the incident; the issue is a matter of salvation and damnation. A matter of obeying Christ's command or not. A matter of confessing Christ before men or not. A choice all Catholics must take that will decide their salvation or damnation.  This is no small matter

Tuesday of 2nd Week of the Year. Global warming and the Pharisees.

 1. The hypocrisy of 'global warming' advocates.
     The hypocrisy of the Pharisees.
In Scriptures, the Pharisees were well known for their hypocrisy among many other vices. The Gospel for today saw them seeing Christ and the apostles gathering corn in a field that was not theirs; scrubbing them to cleanse it for eating. The apostles were tired and hungry.
The Pharisees knew that the Law of Moses allowed, that being tired and hungry, Christ and the apostles can eat from anybody's field enough for their need without being guilty of stealing. So they were not accused of stealing but for gathering and eating corn on the Sabbath. Christ answered them with the classical statement; 'man was not made for the Sabbath but the Sabbath is made for man.'
The Sabbath was made for the physical and spiritual benefit of man; that he might rest physically and spiritually raise his soul to Divine realities. Man was not made to go around imposing the rule of the Sabbath on other men especially on those who are hungry.
In the same way, man was not made to people the Church for Mass; the  Mass was meant to benefit the people. The Mass is for the people and not the people for the Mass.
This distinction is difficult to understand in that the whole world is acting like the Pharisees inverting the purposes why things are done.
So Christ added another example. David was being pursued by King Saul. He and his men were tired and hungry and entered the temple. They ate the bread offering that was reserved for the priests. Abiathar allowed them and even gave them the sword of Goliah kept in the temple. Though the bread was reserved for the priests, David and his men were allowed to eat it because bread is more for the hungry and only secondarily for the ceremonies of priests.
Likewise, religion is for men; to benefit its members to give them happiness here on earth and eternal happiness in heaven. Man is not for religion; to conquer, kill and make miserable other people for the sake of religion. You can see this Pharisaical error everywhere in the world when the means to an end is made the end; and the end used to attain the means.
In the world, almost all men will try to propagate their religion at the expense of the lost of their souls, rather than use their religion to save their souls. The same thing is happening to the institutional Catholic religion under Pope  Francis. Instead of Catholic religion saving souls, human souls are destroy  to start a new sect.

2.  This is more clearly seen in the killing babies in abortion and family planning; and the killing of man, women in wars...  because they contribute to global warming. KILL THE MAN TO SAVE THE PLANET. Kill Christ and the apostles for being hungry during the Sabbath.

3. The Pharisaical error of Pope Francis.
The world was created by God for men; and not men to take care of the world. Though to take care of Paradise was going to be the job of Adam and  Eve, if they did not fall. But this was meant just to keep them busy while awaiting their going to heaven. Man was not meant for Paradise. He was meant for heaven. Man was created not to tend to Paradise.
So, Paradise was for man; and not man for Paradise. This is similar to what Christ said; 'the Sabbath is for man; man is not for the Sabbath. Paradise is meant to benefit man; and not man to benefit Paradise. So again, the Sabbath is meant to give man rest physically so he can spiritual ascend to Divine realities. And it is not man for the Sabbath, for what?
In the same way, the world was created  by God to provide for man's needs so he can effectively do God's Will, the salvation of his soul. God did not create man to care for the world.
So man can used the world in whatever way he wishes as long as it benefits his physical welfare to dispose him for Divine Realities. Nothing is forbidden for man if this is his purpose in using the world.
To forbid man to use the world for his needs is like forbidding Christ and the Apostles from eating corn just because it was the Sabbath.

And this is what the meeting in France under Macron is doing; a program to control global warming. The whole program is going to deny most of the population of the world the needs of their bodies thus will prevent them to meditate on Divine Realities because their resources will be diverted to fund control of global warming..
And Pope Francis is one of the promoters of this Pharisaical practice with other Pharisees who are members of that meeting in France (where,  fortunately, Trump dissociated himself). Pope Francis even wrote 'Laudato Si' to help deceive the world that man is to care for the world, instead of the world being created to satisfy the physical and spiritual needs of man.

4. Pope Francis is going against the mystical meaning of the gospel.
The apostles in the field getting the corn from the plant is the type of the Church getting souls away from the world. Pope Francis is transforming members of the Church to remain as sinners with all their vices, pervertedness, etc., by keeping them in the world.
They ground the corn to make it edible. Grounding is the asceticism practiced to enter the Church. Pope Francis is preventing souls from repenting by encouraging and covering for their crimes while promoting them to important Vatican offices.
He is doing exactly what the Pharisees did to Christ and the Apostles; preventing them from saving souls.

5. Global warming is in the hands of God.
Can man control it, if it rains fire and brimstone? No. Neither can he control any weather, super typhoon or tsunamis. What made them think they  can control global warming? The money they will get in taxing nations to try the impossible, imitating an Act of God. President Trump was wise to their scam and left the group. Pope Francis is not. He and the Vatican have agreed with the international scam  to raise taxes to do the impossible.
To act like God had been the temptation both of angels and of man. Both fell and were severely punished by God. In the Gospel Christ said 'the Sabbath is for man; to benefit him physically and spiritually. And Christ is the Lord of the Sabbath; so He is above the rule of the Sabbath.
Nature is for man to benefit him physically and spiritually. And Christ is the Lord of nature. No man, not even Pope Francis, the Pharisee,  can do anything about global warming because that is part of nature.

HEADS OF STATES vs CATHOLIC BISHOPS

 1. The state and the Church, by nature,  are always at odds, because the state work in the level of the natural while the Church should always work in the level of the spiritual. God's ways are not man's ways.
In the frame of God's providence, however, the natural must be subject to the spiritual just as the body must be subject to the soul. The soul being the superior faculty.
The problem begins when the Church interferes with the natural of which it has no knowledge of; or when the state interferes in the spiritual of which it has no knowledge of. So the cooperation between the two is only possible when both keep to their own fields while the superior guides the inferior.

2. Separation of Church and state.
The heresy of the French revolution is to introduce the separation of Church and state. That is like separating the soul from the body; this is the description of death. With that Society and the whole world dies.
The desire of the body to be independent from the soul is original sin; this is the sin that introduced the separation of Church and State.
The practice, however, benefited the Church. Because most of the interference comes from the Church among the bishops interfering in political matters of which they are fully ignorant of. Thus causing much civil confusion.
The Catholic ideal is still union of Church and State and its great fruits was seen during the Golden Age of Christianity in the 12th century. Today, only Russia under Vladimir Putin follows such Catholic doctrine. And they are Orthodox. No Catholic nation observe this doctrine, because there is no longer any Catholic nation today. Neither Ireland nor the Philippines.

3. A strange phenomenon.
Lately, a strange phenomenon is going on. It is called the 'Josiah phenomenon.' Where there is a conflict between heads of states and bishops. But the heads of states are usually morally right while the bishops are, often, morally wrong. This happens in the world when the bishops and priests loses their Faith. Then God intervenes by raising up heads of state to create the ideal political atmosphere for the world to attain the true Catholic faith. This is called the 'Josiah phenomenon.' Josiah was a Jewish king who was chosen by God to guide Israel when there was no prophet, judge, or priest who were faithful to God.
This is noticeable in the US, Brazil, Argentina, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Austria, Italy, Netherland, Prussia, Czechoslovakia, and the Philippines. In these nations the heads of states are more often morally right while their Catholic bishops are often morally wrong. Thus, heads of states and Catholic bishops are often at odds.
The most publicized contention is between Trump of the US on one side and Pope Francis of  and many Catholic bishops in the US. Up to now Trump had always been right and Pope Francis and the US bishops had been wrong, from Global warming to the issue on immigrants.

4. A specific example in the Philippines is President Duterte  vs  the bishop who have lately been in the news.
Hate the sin but love the sinner. The focus must be an analysis on the error or sin; but the sinner must be loved. This is not the case in the present in the scandal in the US bishops. Both the sin and the sinner are in public scrutiny. The sin and at the names of the bishops are published. This is most ungodly and unCatholic. If, however, God had allowed it is because the church people involved are not repenting. The unnecessary exposure  is meant to force them to repent. Now, news is showing that even Pope Francis is covering up and rewarding them for their non-repentance.
We will insist on focusing on the error and sin while remaining in loving the person by keeping their identity secret, since this is the very essence of repentance.

5. The issue.
In the purely attention getting contention between the President and the bishops, a bishop had issued a 'friendly challenge' to walk without security as a sign of bravery.
The president jocosely urged bystander to rob and kill bishops,
We cannot judge the inner intentions of both; but we will comment only the 'words' we hear,' basing them on the philosophy and theology of St. Thomas of Aquinas. If both were joking, then, let us all have a good laugh. But as an intellectual exercise let us analyse the statements, evidently uttered 'off the cuff.'

Both statements were devoid of both moral and theological virtues.  The moral virtues are philosophical natural virtues that all men can observe. Theological virtues are supernatural virtues that can only be observed by men who are within the Catholic Church. The moral virtues must be observed before one can receive the theological virtues that makes one holy and Catholic.

6. What the bishop said.
The bishop challenged the president to walk the streets without body guards as a sign that he is a brave man. Considering that there are so many evil men in the world today; considering that President Kennedy who is the most well guarded man in the world was shot dead by his own government; considering that Indira Gandhi was shot by his own body guard; considering that Donald Trump is in danger from his own CIA, own FBI, from the Democrats, from actresses like Madonna who wants to burn down the White House.....to suggest that the President walk the streets without body guards to show his bravery is not a sign of bravery; but considering the realities mentioned above, it is a sign of lack of the four Catholic moral virtues.
A better suggestion is to imitate Donald Trump and hire well-trusted body guards like the choiced Russian intelligence services he plane in to protect himself from the same US agencies that killed Kennedy.

7. What the president said.
He told bystanders to 'rob' and 'kill' rich bishops. Well, bystanders have better things to do than that. The President had assured his priest and bishop friends that he really did not mean that. And that was only a reaction to their continuous unreasonable criticism of his administration. Well, it still lacked the four natural moral virtues of prudence, fortitude, justice and temperance.
A better suggestion for the president is to tell bishops to behave as bishops and not walk around spewing heresies; like a former president of the conference saying to the conference in an opening speech in the Pius Centre that the Catholic religion founded by Christ and the apostles is old, sick, decrepit, ready to die. So they must abandon it and transfer to the Protectant sect made by Bergoglio from Argentina. Or the vice president of the conference that proclaimed in his social media that there is no hell, which is, also, preached by Pope Francis. Or that the Catholic doctrine on capital punishment must be removed from the catechism of the Catholic Church. Or that adultery, homosesexuality, lesbianism, transgenderism are now morally right. That any religion can bring man to heaven. These are all heresies proposed by Pope Francis and parroted by most of the bishops. Imagine the confusion among the faithful who hears these.

8. Analysis of both.
Duterte lives in the level of politics. This is the natural level. He is expected to act in that level and commit mistakes in that level since, unlike Russia, his politics is not enlightened by the Catholic Faith. The politics of Putin is enlightened by Christian Orthodox beliefs.
Being a Catholic, the President's  bishop failed to teach him how to be a Catholic.
The Catholic bishops, as Catholics, should master the moral virtues and have the theological virtues. Since their comment on the president is contrary to the moral virtues, it means they do not have the theological virtues. In which case, they cannot be Catholics.

When heads of states and bishops have no contentions it is more probable that both are on the same wrong side like in Germany and France.

9.  We have given a suggestion on what both the president and the bishops should do to comply with the universal obligation, at least,  of the moral virtues. We do not expect the president to rise up to the theological virtues. But we are sad that the bishops whose obligation is to raise souls to the level of the theological virtues have not done so even to their own president, just as the US democrats and the US Department of Justice are supposed to show some human love for their president and have not done so.

CHRIST PREACHED AND DROVE THE DEVIL AWAY. Wednesday of the First Week.

 1. After Christ preached, He would drive away the devil from His listeners.
Let us look at the process by which the truth heard is believed with a mature act of faith.
First step; when Christ preaches, His truths will be registered in the minds of His listeners. The listeners will try to understand the meaning of the words uttered by Christ with the help of God's grace. It is easy for the listeners to understand the dictionary meaning of the words of Christ but it is impossible to understand the mystical meaning of His words without the help of grace. The writings of the Fathers of Church with the help of grace makes it easier to understand the mystical meaning of Christ's words.
Second step; when the words of Christ are registered in the mind with the help of grace; the mind must assent to what it has received. Then the mind must present the truth to which it has assented to, to the free will for its consent.
Third step; the free will must consent to the truth perceived by the mind and, then, return the truth to the mind for execution. When the mind orders the soul to obey the truth it has received and consented to by the free will, then the person has made an act of Faith. All of this process is with the help of grace. Thus the Act of Faith is a grace from God. And this assures the salvation of the soul.

2. Satan
Satan know this process. To destroy a soul he must prevent the truth assented to by the mind to be presented to the free will for its consent. Thus, whenever a person hears the words of Christ as the crowd in the Synagogue did, the devil would do three things; first, prevent the mind from knowing the mystical meaning of the Words of Christ. Secondly, tempt the mind not to assent to the Words of Christ. And thirdly, prevent the mind from presenting the Words assented to to the free will for its consent.
Thus when Christ have seen that His hearer have heard His Words, have understood them and have assented to them, He knows the devil will enter the soul and thwart the above process.
So Christ would drive the devil away to allow His Words assented to by the mind to be able to go to the free will for its consent. This way the hearers will be able to believe in Christ.

3. The ascetical practice.
Thus in the spiritual life, first, it is necessary to hear the Words of Christ from Christ, from Sacred Scriptures or from a good preacher. Secondly, the listener should pray for the grace to understand the mystical meaning of the Words of Life, preferably with the help of the writings of the Fathers of the Church. Thirdly, they must live a calm and unrestricted life in silence and solitude so that no worldly interference can delay the Words of Christ assented to by the mind from hastily descending to the free will for its consent.
A delay in the consent of the free will to the assent of the mind can give the devil the occasion to interfere in the process. This is what happened to Judas, He heard the teachings of Christ but delayed in his belief in Christ. The devil took the opportunity to make him covet riches. In his covetousness, Satan was able to completely enter into him, prevent his mind filled with the teachings to inform the free will for its consent.  Taught personally by Christ, instead of being a saint, he became a traitor.

4. Christ is not around to drive devils away from those who have just heard the Words of Christ.
Christ made provisions for this. An act of perfect repentance can prevent the devil from interfering between the mind and free will. Thus the soul can complete the above process and make an act of mature Faith. Having attained perfect Faith, God will bestow on the soul the beginnings of Charity. Having done this the devil can no longer interfere with the spiritual life of the soul.
Thus, every time a soul hears the Words of Christ, he must immediately try to understand its mystical meaning and then immediately obey the command of Christ. This way he will surely attain his final goal which is the  Beatific Vision.

5. The Vatican.
The institutional Church is not teaching the Words of Christ. Thus the minds of people are empty of the truth. Grace cannot work on anything in the mind and the mind cannot assent on any Divine Truths. So the mind cannot share any good with the  free will to consent to. Because the soul is Faithless, it is also without Charity.
Thus what Christ prophesied describing the people today as 'having decayed Faith and waxing cold of Charity. Because the devil had prevented the Words of God to go through the process of belief. The soul is damned.
The institutional Church headed by Pope Francis and run by his FrancisBishops are encouraging souls to sin, to heresy, to disobedience to the commands and teachings of Christ. Add to this the world of which the devil is the prince fills up the mind. The mind is filled with garbage and this is shared with the free will. And the free will ends up loving all the spiritual garbage that comes from Satan with compliments from the Vatican and its bureaucracy.
Satan does not even have to interfere between the mind and the free will. Its all garbage from the world, through the senses, to the mind, down the free will and all out into human action.

6. The human actions in the world.
Thus most of the human acts in the world today is clearly diabolical. Satan had taken over the world and most of men had becomes his slaves.
Thus Christ had to drive away the devil after His preachings because the devil is there whenever there is Christian preaching for the devil will try to prevent souls in making the mature act of Faith. Having done that he has nothing more to do to destroy souls. Everything else will follow; the descend to hell.
Without Christ driving out the devil, the soul who have heard the Words of Christ, like Judas, will not be able to follow Christ at all. Today, we must reach the perfection of Faith as soon as possible. It is the only defence against the attacks of the fallen angels, as the prayer of Compline reminds us.

THE CALLING OF THE FIRST DISCIPLES. Monday of First Week in Ordinary Time.

 1. The calling of the first disciples.
Christ would first call those who follow Him disciples. And then He choses a few among the disciples to be His apostles. The requirement for apostleship is identical to discipleship; they must both obey His commandments. We see these requirements whenever Christ would call them.

2.  In today's Gospel we see the calling of four disciples all of whom will become apostles; two pairs of brothers. The calling of Peter and Andrew and the calling of James and John. All the four were commanded to leave all things; their boats, their nets, etc. Remembers these are destined to be apostles.
In another Gospel pertaining to the young rich man, he was just an ordinary layman. Yet Chris demanded the same thing; that he go home, sell all his things, give it to the poor and follow Christ. Essentially the command given to the disciples who would eventually become apostles is identical to the young rich man who was an ordinary layman.
Pope John Paul II in his important encyclical 'Veritatis Splendor' emphasised this command that all men should obey to be able to enter the Catholic Church. They must go home, sell all their things, give it to the poor and come follow Christ.
Unless man obeys this command, his heart will be divided and he will not be able to follow Christ as He must.

3. Note the slight difference in the command given by Christ.
Peter was not told to leave his wife and mother in law, while
James and John were told to leave their father. How come?
There is a need to leave those who would be obstacle to following Christ but not those who are willing to follow Christ, too.
Peter's wife and mother in law were not going to be an obstacle to Peter and Andrew. In fact, they followed Christs being the cook of Christ and the apostles. In a Wednesday Gospel, it seems that the wife was well to cook while the mother in law was sick. Christ cured the mother in law; then she went about serving Christ and the apostles.
On the other hand, Christ knew that Zebedee was going to be an obstacle to James and John in their following Chris. The mother was not an obstacle. The father is not known to have followed Christ though his wife, the mother of James and John followed Christ and asked that her sons take the first seats in the kingdom.

4. The need to remove obstacles.
The evangelical counsels are needed for the perfection of obedience of Faith thus equally needed for salvation; thus thought called counsels, they must be obeyed.
This is shown in the examples of the young rich man and apostles. In response to the question 'what must we do to attain eternal life?' Christ answer was to keep the commands and to practice the evangelical counsels. 'Keep the commandments and go home leave father, mother, brother and sister, home and possessions and come follow me.' The commandments and the evangelical counsels must be observed.
This is contrary to the belief of many diocesan priests and bishops, that some of the evangelical counsels does not have to be observed.
The evangelical counsels must be observed to enable souls to perfect their obedience to the commands of Christ.

5. Today no one answer the call of Christ the way the four brothers answered it.
Christ demanded that both clergy and laymen obey His commandments and and follow His counsels. James and John were required to obey the counsel of chastity by leaving their father. All were required to obey poverty by leaving all things and obeying all the commands of Christ through obedience.

6. Nobody, today, is  leaving the sinful world as James and John left their own father. Zebedee could not leave his love for the world thus he could not follow Christ at that moment. Most people cannot leave their love for the world to follow Christ. Nevertheless there is a great possibility that Zebedee eventually followed Christ.  Unlike the mother who followed Christ with James and John.
The lesson is clear; we live in an age where most men refuse to follow Christ and at a time where the possibility of following Christ is minimal. It is not a good time to exist and bring up children and Christ said so 'Woe to you who have children.' We must leave this world as the Church, portrayed in the Book of Revelation, left the world to fly to the desert where salvation is.

Those who do not wish to follow Christ will be an obstacle to those who wish to save their souls. In fact, they will, intentionally prevent souls from seeking God and drag them to hell with them. Have nothing to do with them as James and John had nothing to do with their own father. The majority of the people in the institutional church have become like this.
Pope Francis and most of the bishops and priests love the world which makes them enemies of Christ. They do not want to follow Christ but themselves. Pope Francis is more concerned with ecology and global warming than saving souls. He loves sinners, heretics, LGBTQ, communists, masons, George Soros and Anglicans who do not believe in the Resurrection.....but will not lift a finger to save Bibi. He is, certainly, no Peter, nor Andrew, nor James. nor John. He is more like Zebedee and, therefore, should be left behind with all things.......if we are to follow Christ. Like James and John we should have nothing to do with him who claims to be our father.

The BAPTISM of John vs the BAPTISM of CHRIST.

 1. Baptisms.
St. John the Baptist was preaching a baptism of repentance. Christ, also, preached the need for repentance that should be followed by Faith. John was clear that his baptism did not forgive sins. And John pointed out to Jesus whose baptism will forgive sins. So we have two kinds of baptisms; one in the Old Testament. The other in the New Testament.  The former was preached by St. John the Baptist; the other was preached by Christ. The former does not forgive sins; the latter forgive sins. The former was able to save the Old Testament righteous men and women, though they had to wait in Limbo for the Resurrection of Christ before going to heaven. The latter brings  souls directly to heaven.

2. Differences between the two baptisms.
The life of repentance as preached by John the Baptist contains three elements; prayer, fasting and good works. These three activities are physical in nature because it is still Old Testament spirituality. Prayer is mainly verbal prayer of the Psalms. Fasting is giving up of food and drink. And good works are the corporal works of mercy.
The life of baptism of repentance in the Old Testament was in preparation for the first coming of Christ on Christmas night. It is not merely an act but a way of life as lived by Simeon and Anna.
The life of baptism of repentance by Christ in the New Testament was in preparation for the second coming of Christ. This is what forgive past sins and was lived by Christ and the apostles.

3. A source of confusion.
The practice of going to confession to a priest is repentance according to the Old Testament preached by John. It does not forgive sins. The elements of the Old Testament repentance is different from the elements of the New Testament repentance which forgives past sins.

4. The baptism of repentance is a preparation for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The latter is impossible without passing through the former. The spiritual life goes this way; first, one must live the life of repentance as taught by St. John the Baptist. Secondly, one must follow it up with living the life of repentance of the New Testament thus receiving the theological virtue of Faith that enables the soul to have the beginnings of Charity that leads to salvation. This order must be followed strictly. One cannot go to the second or third without living the previous step. This will explain the mess in the US Catholic Church; in that Poor Francis and the bishops are going against the life of repentance or the Baptism of St. John. Thus they are unable to put into practice the Baptism of Jesus Christ.

5. Let us see the Baptisms of John and of Jesus Christ; and show how Pope Francis and the FrancisBishops, especially in the US, are going against this teaching of Scriptures.
Confession, an element of the life of repentance, must be a free act by the penitent towards his confessor, and it must be shrouded in secrecy so that the confessor cannot reveal what is confessed. Today it is not so. The penitent is investigated, his sins are revealed not only to the press but to a prosecutor. He is listed down and his name given to an investigator and the sinner is publicly reprimanded and punished. This is neither the baptism of John nor of Christ. The erroneous exercise of the command on repentance is preventing both the bishops and Pope Francis from proceeding towards Faith. With this error, the entire institutional church remains Faithless, totally incapable of saving souls.
The way the problem of the bishops in the US is being handled is very unCatholic. And the reaction of the bishop's conference around the world is, also, unFatholic. This is why there is problem in the Catholic Church, because the Catholic Church is behaving in a very unCatholic way in solving her own problems. And no problem is being solved.
Why is God allowing the sins of the bishops to be well publicised? So that the Federal prosecutors, instead of the neglectful church, will force the sinful bishops to repent since they will not repent on their own.
It is for the same reason why God allows capital punishment. To force the murderers to repent since the bishops and parish priest of the criminals have neglected teaching them how to repent. Now Pope Francis and many bishops and priests want to abolish the capital punishment and remove the last attempt to force criminals to repent and save their souls. Pope Francis and those opposed to capital punishment have just condemned these poor criminals to the eternal fires of hell.

6. The Baptism of Christ is of fire and the Holy Spirit.
It is not possible to receive the Baptism of Christ without first receiving the Baptism of water. Since most have not received the Baptism of water preached by John the Baptist, it is not possible to receive the Baptism of Christ. Most of the Charismatics are not truly Catholics for this reason; not having received the Baptism of John, they cannot receive the Baptism of fire and the Holy Spirit.
It is the Baptism of Christ that allows us to enter the Catholic Church. It is because of this that most Catholics who think they are Catholics are actually outside the Catholic Church. And no one is telling them the truth.

THE MAGI and The Infant Church.

 1. The Liturgy.
The Liturgy recalls the time three wise men sought the King of the Jews and travelled to Bethlehem where they found the Child with His mother. The wise men had the beginnings of Faith in that they were searching for the King of the Jews. They believed in the humanity of Jesus. When they found the babe with His mother, they believed that He was, also God. Not by the way He looks but because His birth was announced by a star. In which case they offered gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
While Joseph, Mary and Joseph make up the true Church, the three wise men make up the infant Church together with Joseph, Mary and in union with Christ through Faith.
Note that all of them at that time had the theological virtue of Faith. They believed that Jesus was man and God. That makes them the infant Catholic Church with Christ as its Head.

 2. The Eschatology meaning of the events.
Satan, using the evil Herod and the Pharisee had Jesus killed. A babe?  They feared that a baby might take away the kingdom of Herod? An unfounded fear. What they  feared was not being able to continue to do the desires of the flesh. A fear that the child will save sinners from their sins.
The devil would later try to prevent Christ  from being crucified to redeem the world; but the devil will now try to kill Jesus as a babe to prevent Him from growing up and save the world. The devil failed in both. He was not able to prevent Christ from being crucified to redeem the world; and he was not able to kill Jesus as a child and prevent Him from growing up to save the world.
The feast of the wise men shows that the devil will attempt to kill the Faith of the infant Churches by killing their infant Faith before it grows up.  When the Church grows to maturity God may allow the devil to assist in the mystical crucifixion of the Church prior to her glorious Resurrection.

3. The death of the Holy Innocents is an attempt to kill the Faith of the infant Church.
The devil, using King Herod, kills the babies, only, with God's permission.  Eschatologically, the babies killed is a type of TWO groups. All of them were killed during the infancy of their Faith, before they can develop the theological virtue of Faith. They are all aiming at Faith but killed before they acquire the maturity of Faith thus are unable to enter the Church to be full Catholics.
The Catholic Church founded by the apostles was like the massacred babies. The killing of the first Christians was Satan's attempt to destroy the Church in her infancy;  with persecutions and with heresies. Some Christians were killed physically just like the babies, others died spiritually through heresies. Both died in some way. Two groups represent the killed babies; the religious orders and the lay, secular communities that make up the rest of the  Catholic Church.
The first group is made up of the religious orders. These are the first organised Christian communities. Many of their members had the wrong idea that upon entering the order they are already Catholics. No. One enters an order to be able to enter the Catholic Church. The orders are the places within which souls learn to and enter the Catholic Church.

4. The organised religious communities.
These are  the Benedictines, the Jesuits, the Dominicans, the Franciscans, the Augustinians, etc. These religious communities were started by their founders to enable souls to be born within the Church. And probably most of them had the initial degrees of Faith when they entered. But Satan, using the world,  killed their Faith  as they were only beginning; thus it is said that Herod, mystically,  killed the Faith of those beginning to enter the Church.
This is clearly shown in the fact that religious orders had almost lost the spirit of the founder as soon as the founder passed away. In the case of St. Francis of Assisi, the Franciscans lost the spirit of their founder Francis, while the saint was still alive due to Bro. Elias. This is a pattern in almost all religious orders. They were like spiritual babes whose Faith were massacred by the devil at an early age of the spiritual life.

5.  The secular institutes and the new emerging communities.
Another group who started with noble aims, the salvation of their souls, are the secular institutes. The Opus Dei, the Foccolare, the Neo-catechumenical, the Charismatics, etc. They started with good intentions but due to lack of proper instruction, their Faith was killed even before they were spiritually born. Unlike the orders above, these groups were spiritually aborted while still in the womb.

6. Proofs of the eschatological image of the massacred babies is that both groups described above, the orders and ecclesial groups do not have the four visible signs of the true Church mentioned in the Nicene Creed. Most of the Christian communities, like the Opus Dei, Foccolare, etc., had been spiritually massacred during the infancy of their Faith.

7. The Catholic Church expects the mystery of Holy Innocents to be fulfilled these days, again.
The devils, through their co-horts like Herod tries to kill the spirit of Faith at its inception in these communities and had been successful as in the day of Herod. And continues to do so up to now. All evil men, under the influence of the devil,  kills the small Faith of  emerging communities. It is done today as Pope Francis had been suppressing theFaith of communities which he started with the Franciscans of the Immaculate. The Franciscan is a young community  of Franciscan. And a host of many emerging communities had been suppressed. The Faith of the entire Catholic Church had been killed with Pope Francis' first papal exhortation on 'love without dogma.' He has killed the infant Faith of his Anglican friend by discouraging him to convert to the Catholic Faith. He has killed the Faith of many by encouraging them to remain in their sins specially with the guilty US bishops. He has killed the Faith of the Chinese underground Catholics by forcing them to subject themselves to atheistic communist doctrines. He had encouraged adulterers, sodomites, sexual perverts to remain spiritually dead. He had silence those who preach the truths, the latest was Fr. Goring; thus starving souls to death. All the weak of Faith are starved in that he does not feed them with the Words of life. He feeds them with the poison of heresies.

8. The Child Jesus is safe.
Joseph and Mary protecting Jesus is the type of the Church within which Faith is born, nourished and matures. The state of the institutional Church today shows that the Faith had not been born, nourished and matured. The absence of fraternal Charity shows the Faith had been massacred.
So where is the Church? Like Christ during the time of Herod, Joseph and Mary had fled and hidden Him. Where? The Book of Revelation writes, in the desert.
Pope Benedict had been trying to protect the emerging communities of Faith. But like the mothers, the children had been killed as of today.  He had encouraged all the ecclesial communities putting them under the protection of the Congregation of religious and secular institutes. But they still lost their Faith because of the present Herod in Pope Francis and his FrancisBishops.
Pope Benedict had always asked bishops during their 'ad lumina'  visits whether they have young emerging communities in their locality. He took great interest in such young, new communities just as the Magi looked for the child born King of the Jews. He was, also, looking for the infant Faith of the Church to head it as Pope.
Pope Benedict looked for the infant Churches to protect and encourage them,  Pope Francis is like Herod who looks for these communities to slay them by making them communists.

9. The institutional Church vs the true Church.
It looks like a devastated war ravaged land with neither Faith nor Charity. A devastated vineyard as Scriptures would describe it. Which Christ would certainly abandon and offer to other husbandmen.
And where is the true Church? Still with its four visible signs of One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic, She was brought to the desert by God, Himself, in a special place where she is protected from the evils that beset the world today; especially from the evils from the man of sin described by St. John the Evangelist in his first letter, that will certainly come from the institutional Catholic Church but who does not hold a single doctrine or morals taught by Christ and the Fathers of the Church.

A BURNING ISSUE - On the Papacy.

 1. A burning issue.
No matter how we try to avoid the topic, it just keeps on coming up. And we cannot but avoid throwing in our two cents worth of thought.
This is the issue on who is the Pope of the Catholic Church today. The issue is a burning issue because he who answers it correctly will go to heaven; while he who answers it wrongly goes to hell. Why? Because the answer is directed towards an article of Faith. The right answer will show that the person has the theological virtue of Faith and thus will be saved. And the wrong answer will show that the person is sinning against Faith and therefore will go to hell. So, this issue is no small matter. It is a matter of heaven or hell.
Every soul concerned with the salvation of his soul must resolve this issue. The bishop who points to the right person as Pope is leading his diocese in the right path. The bishop who points to the wrong person is leading his diocese to schism. So it has become of the utmost importance that this issue on who is the true Pope must be resolved soonest.

2. This was not a problem before but it has become a problem several times in the history of the Church.
It has happened that several times, the Catholic church have had several Popes at the same time, which cannot be. There must only be one Pope. Some time before, there were two or even three Popes. And it was impossible for most, even for bishops, to point out who was the true Pope. It usually took a saint to point him out. What if there is no saint.

3. Five versus two Popes.
Today, there are more than five claiming to be Pope of the Catholic Church. One is the main contender.  But the other is claimed by many as the real Pope. The former has the election by the last Conclave as its main defence. The latter has the invalidity of the last Conclave as its main argument. But let us go deeper into the issue because up to the present, the arguments used are not fully convincing. Yet, the issue must be resolved because it takes an act of Faith to resolve it and the very salvation of soul is involved in the process of choosing.

4. Choosing a Pope is an act of Faith.
To say,'he is the true Pope,' is identical to saying 'that is the true God,'  and 'that is the true religion.' To accept one of that statement is an act of Faith. If that Faith is directed to a wrong direction, like a wrong god or a wrong religion, then it becomes a very serious sin. So in the present situation where suddenly there seems to be two Popes, a Bishop's guidance is critical. He can either direct his flock towards true Faith or towards schism. This is no laughing matter. It is serious. And yet, most bishops and priest are not making a stand; or worse, making the wrong stand.
In this post, we shall briefly review the present stand of each side. And then, go to Scriptures and the Fathers of the Church to make the correct Catholic stand.

5. The current stand.
When Pope Francis was elected Pope, all Catholics accepted him as the valid Pope of the Catholic church. And that is still the stand of most Catholic. Catholic, de fide, believe that he is the true Pope. This belief is an act of Faith and, therefore, it must conform to an act of mature Faith with the right object and it must have the element of certainty. But most Catholics believe that Francis is Pope not from any act of mature Faith, but merely out of popularity, personal liking, or purely out of poor knowledge of one's religion. It is like choosing a popular artist, actor, NBA player, etc. Their acceptance of Pope Francis is not out of personal mature Faith.
Because, their belief in Pope Francis as Pope was not out of a personal mature act of Faith, it is not well founded and can easily be lost. Well, even genuine Faith can be lost. How much more a fake faith. And most of the Catholic's belief in Pope Francis as Pope is shallow and based, merely, on popularity contest or out of habit in believing that all Popes are popes. One can easily make a mistake.  And, today, many are committing a mistake.

6. The destruction of a fake Faith.
Since most belief in Francis as Pope are not an act of Faith, as it should be, it has been easily shaken by recent events. It should have been shaken even from the very beginnings of his papacy with his heretical speech on 'love without dogma.' It should have been shaken even more when Cardinal Arinze declared him a heretic. It should have been completely devastated with the first Synod of Bishops on the family when the entire Bishop's Synod completely rejected the proposal of Pope Francis as heretical. All those who rejected Pope Francis' proposal during that Synod should have suspected that he was not the true Pope.
The papacy of Francis should have been completely doubted with the 'dubia' that has remained unanswered after more than 800 days,  and even more so with the exposure by Archbishops Vigano and Mons. Bux. There should have been no doubt as to the invalidity of his papacy with his heretical stands, like indifferentism, liberality, communistic tendencies, masonic stands, abolition of the death penalty from the catechism and the declaration that there is no hell and May was not immaculate.
With all these proofs to the erroneous teachings of Pope Francis, the spectre was raised that he is not the valid Pope.  This is fortified when a group rigged the last Conclave election that elected him. And all the above arguments were put together and crowned with the fact that the resignation of Pope Benedict is believed as not an actual resignation but a feigned act attempt to ferry out the expected 'man of sin.' and expose him in the light of truth.

7. Suddenly, the alternative was raised.
If Pope Francis is not the valid Pope, then who is the true Pope? No one comes to mind except the previous Pope whose resignation has been put to doubt; Pope Benedict XVI.  But the above arguments, though very strong in favour of the previous Pope, does not resolve the issue because the reasons advanced are not part of Scriptures nor the Fathers of the Church, i.e. not according to the dogmas of the Catholic Church.

8. The mature act of Faith.
To point and recognise the true Pope is an act of Faith. It is identical to pointing and recognising the true God and pointing and recognising the true religion. To point to the true Pope is not a guess work, it is not even a philosophical, metaphysical or ontological process. It is definitely not a political process, just because he is duly elected. No. It is an act of mature Faith from each one. As such, judgment must be based on well founded theological truths.
So far, the present heated discussion going on on who is the true Pope is based on well founded reasonings but not as an act of Faith. Recognising the true Pope is an act of religion; therefore, it must be an act of Faith.
As noted, very few are involved in the present discussion because of the complexity of the issues involved. But it can be simplified as all Catholic truths are simple, though very deep. And we want to reduce the reasonings for all to understand and make a stand and confess their Faith precisely because this stand is a matter of salvation.

9. Present situation.
The present situation is bad. All sides have chosen the Pope of their choice based on personal liking, popularity and as victims of public relation efforts.
The arguments of certain sides are getting better, more profound, more philosophical, psychological, and canonically sound. But most of them have not touch the theological level. Every reasoning is still, merely, in the natural and human level; not spiritual or Scriptural or theological.
Most bishops could not resolve the past problem when there were many Popes at the same time. Their inability is due to their lack of Faith. The many popes was, in fact,  Divine Chastisement for their lack of Faith. The same is happening today. Catholics do not know who is the true Pope because they lack Faith. This issue can only be resolved by an act of Faith.

10. The winning side.
    Pope Benedict vs Pope Francis.
When there were three Popes, how did they  resolve the issue. If all the three were men of Faith, they would know who is the true Pope and the other two will withdraw from the papacy. A man of Faith will not remain to be a false Pope. But a faithless man will insist in being Pope even if he is not.
The ultimate test in finding out who is the true Pope is to find out who have the signs of true Catholicity having the four visible signs as enumerated in the Nicene Creed. He will be proven to be the true Pope. Those without the four visible signs cannot be popes because they cannot take orders validly.

Who has the four signs. Only one can have it, not all three. Any two who has Faith would give up the papal office as St. Hypollitus, the anti-pope, did to give way to the true Pope,  St. Pontian. Being a person with Faith, Hypollitus gave up his claim to the papacy because by Faith he knew that it was Pontian who was the true Pope. He gave in to St. Pontian and for this became a saint, himself. That was better than being a Pope or an anti-pope.
In the present situation where people feel there are two Popes, surely one with the four visible signs has Faith and, therefore, is the true Pope while the other who will not resign because he has no Faith cannot be Pope.

11. Conclusion
To recognise and point to the true Pope is a mature act of Faith and, therefore, meritorious act deserving of salvation. To point to the wrong person is a sin against the theological virtue of Faith and, therefore, deserving of damnation. Everyone should be involved in this very important issue and arm themselves with the truths found in Scriptures and the Fathers of the Church. With these as aids the probability is great that you will make an act of mature Faith, point to the right person as the true Pope. And become deserving of eternal salvation for your act of mature Faith.
In this post, we have not stated who is the true Catholic Pope. We are just saying that there is a very serious discussion going on this issue and the arguments pointing at the invalidity of the election of Pope Francis is strong. We are hoping that each Catholic  seriously resolve this issue because the very salvation of their souls depend on it.

THE HOLY NAME OF JESUS. Thursday in Christmastide.

 1. The Liturgy.
The Christmastide liturgical season is a continuation of the Christ the King liturgy wherewith Christians are reminded to be perfectly ready for the final general judgment of God. Readiness consist in having perfect repentance, perfect Faith and the beginnings of Charity.
The beginnings of Charity is the ability to be able to teach one's neighbour how to go to heaven. Whether the neighbour obeys or not is immaterial. But a true Christian must be able to teach his neighbour how to go to heaven. Which presumes that he, himself, has learned how to go to heaven and have obeyed the commands of Christ on how to go to heaven.

2. This perfect repentance, perfect Faith and the beginnings of Charity is reached when God gives the Christian a 'new name.' This new name was given to Abraham. When he had reached perfect Faith and the beginnings of Charity and by entertaining angels, God changed his name and gave him a new name.
It happened, also, go St. John the Baptist. Since the visit of Mary with Christ still unborn, John while still in Elizabeth's womb, not needing the perfect of repentance, achieved the perfection of Faith and the beginnings of Charity, both infused virtues,  through the grace he received by the power of the Holy Spirit through the presence of Christ in Mary. Thus the angel commanded Zacharias to give the babe a name that came from God. His name will be John.
And Christ will be born without the need for perfect repentance, too. He will have perfect Faith and perfect Charity because He is God. Therefore, He received His name from God through the angel.  His name will be Jesus.
God giving names to certain persons is a phenomenon in Scriptures. The names are given to those who will surely go to heaven. The Book of Revelation states that those who truly become Christians will have a new name from God that will be written in a tablet which no one can read except the person to whom that name will be given.

3. Religious practice.
This giving of a new name was a way by which a soul was consecrated to God. This assures the salvation of his soul. It presumes that he has the theological virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity. Thus receiving a new name from God is an assurance of salvation. It is given when a person has acquired the beginnings of Charity, after he has perfected his repentance and perfected his Faith. Another way of describing the state of this soul is that 'he will see the face of God,' as the psalms states.
The giving of a new name is so important it has become part of Baptism an during professions in religious orders. To remind Christians that our goal is to be able to receive a new name from God.

4. Why did Christ undergo circumcision?
First, to show humility in obedience to the Old Testament.
Second, to show that He is human in that He followed human customs.
Thirdly, but He showed His divinity in that His name came from God through the angels. But the most important reason Christ was circumcised is to demonstrate the necessity of receiving this new name from God.

5. Spiritual circumcision.
The Old Testament circumcision wherein a portion of the foreskin was cut off, had been raised to the spiritual level in the New Testament. It refers to the cutting off of all desires for the pleasures of the flesh.
This will take a long time to do. It needs a lot of laborious ascetical practices and the observance of the Evangelical Counsels. When this is accomplished then God gives us a new name written in a while tablet which only the soul can read, the Book of Revelation states. It is a surety of one's personal salvation.

6. Given on the 8th day.
The 8th day is Sunday representing Easter Sunday when Christ Resurrected from the dead. The 8th day, also, is the time all souls destined to go to heaven, receive their resurrected bodies and go to heaven to live with God for all eternity.
But before any soul reaches the 8th day, he must undergo the 7th day. This is the day of rest for all souls who have laboured successfully for the salvation of their souls. And before the soul undergo the 7th day, he must pass the 6th day. The 6th day is the present time where the Church will undergo her Good Friday.

7. Good Friday, the 6th day.
The 6th day is today. Like on Good Friday, the world is dark in that nobody knows the truths on how to go to heaven. When the High priests representing Pope Francis and most of the Pharisees representing the Bishops and priests are sinners and, therefore, are unable to lead souls to the salvation of their souls. Where the world is teaching that right is wrong and wrong is right; while punishing those who do right and rewarding those who do wrong.
Where, like on Good Friday, none of the true apostles were preaching 'for fear of the Jews.' It is a time when the whole world are against Christ and the Church. Where the Church is full of traitors and everyone who is Christlike is suppressed.
It is a time when the knowledge on  how to be saved is impossible to learn unless God gives it directly to men in the form of graces.
This day is described as the day of 'great distress.' And those who survive it will have a special place in heaven, according to the Book of Revelation.

8. A small Church.
It will be a very small Church. It is described  in the last chapter of the Gospel of John when only 7 apostles where in the boat, lowering their fishing nets only on the right side while the sea was very calm. And catching 153 fishes, the mystical description of those numbered to be saved. The Church is further described during the Liturgical celebration of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, a mystery rejected by Pope Francis, and the Liturgical celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe whose portrait Pope Francis misinterpreted.

9. The Holy Name of Jesus.
Only when we reach the 8th day of the spiritual life can we, also, receive a new name. And since the name will come from God, it will, also, be a holy name.

Monday - 7th day of Christmas Octave and commemoration of St. Sylvester. THE ANTI-CHRIST.

 1. St. John's Letter and Gospel.
The Liturgy today, Christmas octave, is a continuation of Christ the King. The Liturgy speaks about preparing for the General Judgment by Christ. This preparation prepares us both for our individual personal death and for the final General Judgment. In the former, there is still purgatory. In the latter, there is no purgatory so we must be perfect during the final General Judgment.
The two readings for today is taken, first, from the 1st letter of St. John the Evangelist and the Gospel is taken from the beginning of the Gospel of St. John the Evangelist. These are the readings for today's Mass, Monday of the 7th day of Christmas octave.

2. The Last Gospel during the Old Mass.
St. John, the profound theologian, always summarised the whole plan of salvation as prologue of his Epistles or Gospel. He did this in both readings today.
The beginning of the Gospel of St. John was always read as the last Gospel in the old Mass. After Vatican II it is all gone in the new Masses. Why was it there in the old Masses in the first place?
The beginnings of John's Gospel which was read as the last Gospel of the Old Mass begins with, 'In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God.' In the middle it says, 'And the Word was made flesh.' And it ends with 'And to those who did accept Him he gave them power to become children of God...by the decision of God.'
The beginning of John's Gospel was read as the last Gospel in every Mass in the Old Mass because it summarised the way of salvation and it summarised the mystery of the Mass. It , also, summarised how to enter the Catholic Church. So when Catholics left after the Old Mass, they knew the summary of salvation, the summary on how to enter the Church and the summary of the Mass. The last Gospel taken from the beginning of the Gospel of John was the summary. All Catholics knew from the Liturgy of the Mass the way of salvation, the way to enter the Church and understood the mystery of the Mass.
Now,  no one knows anything of the above; neither layman, priest, bishop, nor Pope Francis.
Today's Gospel is very lengthily commented on by St. Thomas of Aquinas. We shall lay it aside for the meantime and go to the first reading which is from the Epistle of St. John.

3. The 1st Epistle of St. John the Evangelist.
It begins with a prologue that describes what must be done to attain everlasting life in heaven; 'that you may attain fellowship with God and with Christ and that your joy may be complete.'
Then, it summarises what must be done; ' to avoid sin and to obey Christ's commandments. This is followed by a description of specific members of the Catholic community and why they were considered as inside the Catholic Church. This is a big help for each one of us so we can know if we are truly inside the Catholic Church.
John, then, describes the coming of many anti-Christ but specially described one.

4. The three general steps to being a Catholic and entering heaven.
First, is to perfect one's life of repentance. Secondly, to perfect one's Faith. Third, to have, at least, the beginnings of Charity. Then he warned all to 'test all the spirits' if it is of God; because there are many false teachers and prophets.
Then, John consoles the soul by saying that with perfect Faith you can overcome all evils including the most evil who will exist in the world, the anti-Christ, who will appear before the General Judgment.

5. There will be many anti-Christs.
How will they look like? They will teach mankind to go against or contradict the commandments of Christ; thus the word anti-Christ. Christ was contradicted since the beginnings of His existence here on earth. There is Nero, Hitler, Lenin, Bill Gates, Obama, Chairman Mao, etc. They all went against the moral and dogmatic teachings of Christ.
But John warns the Christian Church of especially one anti-Christ. He will be the most evil human being that will ever exist. And his existence will spell the approaching final General Judgment day.

6. The final anti-Christ.
He will, almost, make it impossible for everyone to know the truth, to enter the Catholic Church or to save one's soul. This is because of the great evil with which he will be invested with. For those truly inside the Catholic Church, it is important to recognise the anti-Christ. They alone can overcome him with their perfect Faith.
In Christian literature the topic on the anti-Christ is greatly discussed. However, the discussion had caused more confusion than clarification. Let it be said in an easier way that only those with the theological virtue of Faith will be able to recognise the anti-Christ and avoid being overwhelmed by him. The prayer of Compline reminds the Christian every day that it is only with strengthened Faith that this evil man can be overcome.

7. John's description of the anti-Christ.
The anti-Christ will be an individual imbued with all the evils of Satan. He is not Nero, Hitler, Stalin, or Obama though they would have some resemblance with the anti-Christ. St. John clearly described him as visibly a  Catholic man; 'he comes from us'. He will clearly be recognised as a Catholic person coming from the Catholic Church.
He cannot be a mere layman since this can be found in all religions.  He cannot be a priests of a bishop because other sects like the Anglicans and other Protestant sects dress up like priests and bishops. He must be easily recognised because only the Catholic Church has one like him.  He must be a Pope.
Though he is evidently from the Catholic Church being the head of the Catholic Church, St. John writes, his dogmatic and moral teachings are contrary or different from the teachings of Christ.

8. Pope Francis as of today fits this description.
His first papal address goes against the dogma teachings on the theological virtues. His 'Amoris laetitia' go against the moral teachings of God. His denial of the existence of hell and his abolition of the death penalty go against the dogmatic teaching of the Catholic Catechism. And lately, his statement rejected the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Practically everything he said from the beginning of his papacy up to the present are against the dogma and morals taught by Christ in the New Testament. Pope Francis is visibly the head of the Catholic Church whose teachings are all contrary the teachings of Christ. He is exactly the person described by John in his 1st letter.
Because this Liturgical season is preparing the Christian soul for the final battle, St. John warns the members of the Christian community 'do not love the world or the things of the world. If anyone loves the world the Love of God is not in him.' Pope Francis speaks only about loving the world and other worldly concerns like global warming. He never went up to the supernatural level in all his talks. He, not only loves the world; he loves the sins of the world like adulterers, heretics like Luther, communists, Protestant charismatics, gays, transgenders.... etc.
Then John warns that there will be many anti-Christ.  There are many cardinals, bishops and priest who follow the unchristian behaviour and beliefs of Pope Francis. These people will just lead their parishes and dioceses to hell.
But here is a sign that  this is the last hour, John writes. 'The anti-Christ went out from us but they were not really of our number.'
'If they had been our members, they would have remained with us. Their desertion shows that none of them was of our number. But you have the  anointing that comes from the holy one, and you have all knowledge.'
'Having all knowledge' true members of the Catholic Church will know who the anti-Christ is. They will not follow him. They will reject him. They will have nothing to do with him. And they will expose him to the rest of the world for what he is, an anti-Christ.

9. The rest of the world will be in darkness during these days.
Note the two characteristics of the anti-Christ; he is clearly a member of the Catholic Church (not in the spiritual sense) and secondly he will go against all the dogmatic and moral teachings of Christ as taught in the New Testament, and as interpreted by the Fathers of the Church.
The whole world, because it has no Faith, cannot know the teachings of Christ. So they cannot know if a person is disobeying the teachings of Christ. Thus they will not be able to recognise the anti-Christ. As such they will end up obeying the anti-Christ unto their damnation.
