THE TARES, preachers planted by the devil. Saturday, 16th weekday.

 1. The wheat and the cockles.
The previous Gospel described the two important elements of evangelisation; the good seed and the good soil, i.e. the good preacher and the good listener. And we mentioned the fact that all Synods and meetings on the 'new evangelisation' never mentions these two elements. Which makes us wonder what they are talking about.  We noted the video in the internet of Filipino Cardinal Tagle, a speaker in the seminar, asking God many questions whose answers he did not seem to know because he did not answer them.  The answers of which can be found in the Catechism. Which makes us wonder whether those were mere rhetorical question. But the questions had nothing to do with evangelisation. They were mere current events.
He is not to blame. Remember Pope Benedict XVI asked the Bishop's Synod during his Papacy to explain in detail the first step of the 'new evangelisation' and they did not do so. Was it due to neglect or from ignorance. The fact that those two important elements were never discussed in all meetings on evangelisation gives the suspicion that the participants were ignorant of the role of the preacher and the listener in evangelisation. No wonder no one is being evangelised.
There must be a good preacher to have good listeners. The good preacher is sent by God for the sake of the good listeners. God knows where and who they are. Thus good preachers were described as 'sent;' sent for the good listeners. The word apostles means 'sent of God.'
The previous Gospels spoke about a good preacher sowing good seeds.  This is Jesus Christ and two kinds of listeners, believers, the good soil, and unbelievers, the bad soil.
Today, the Gospel speaks about a very bad preacher, the devil and his bad preachers, the cockles.

2. Background.
The devil imitates godliness. So he waits for God to act, then he imitates what God had done; his imitation is meant to confuse and destroy souls.
The devil's errors come after the truth.
His false prophets come after true prophets.
His false apostles come after true apostles.
His anti-christ comes after the Christ.
He has to see whom to imitate. His imitations are very well done. It can fool most men, even Popes, bishops and priests; and more so, laymen. Thus, the devil sends his preachers in imitation of the Holy preachers sent by God.
The devil sends bad Popes to imitate holy Popes; bad Jesuits to imitate good Jesuits, bad bishops to imitate good bishops.
The cockle and wheat look alike. So the holy preachers and the evil preachers look alike and seemingly preach the same thing. But it only seems to be the same; they are opposites, the wheat leads others to holiness, the cockle leads others to hell.

3. How to distinguish.
Christ can easily be distinguished from the devil; but not the cockle from the wheat; because when newly planted they look identical. How can we distinguish one from the other? The wheat will eventually bear good fruits, wheat. The cockle have no good fruits. So we have to know what are the good fruits according to Scriptures. St. Benedict has a whole chapter enumerating the list of good works which are the good fruits of a good seed.

The devil does not plant another kind of seed. It must be similar to the good wheat. And the devil plants his cockles after God had planted the wheat besides the good wheat within the institutional Church so it will be unrecognisable being full of cockles.

4. The devil waits when the saints are dead. He can afford to wait because he does not die.
The devil waits when the church leaders are supine or if  all the original apostles and saints of the Church are dead.
So the devil tend to mix something that looks good or true with his poisonous error; so as to more easily deceive souls.
Heresies are mixed with the good.

5. When men sleep, the devil comes and sows cockles and departs.

The devil wants all men to believe that he does not exist, so he disappears.  If you believe the devil does not exist, this is a sin against Faith which will make you deny all other articles of Faith. St. Augustine wrote; if you do not believe in one truth, you will not believe all truths.

6. Its about time.
Now that Christ had ascended to heaven, the holy apostles have passed away, the holy Fathers of the Church and the Holy Popes have gone to their reward. Gone, also, are the Holy Jesuits, Dominicans and Benedictines. The devil knows it is his time to act. So he sows cockles ; bad apostles, bad Popes, bad Jesuits, bad Dominicans, bad.....etc..They are all around.
Pope Francis, Cardinal Baldiseri,  the Jesuit James Martin, etc..... The prophecy of the Gospel is being fulfilled. So what do we do? They look alike. We would not know who is who. So? Wait for the fruits. The wheat bear grains of wheat, good fruits. The cockles bear no fruit.
Scriptures enumerate what are the 'good' fruits. St. Benedict in his Holy Rule enumerates them in a chapter. Look for the fruits so we can know who are the cockles and who are the wheat. Be on the side of the wheat and reject the cockle. But above all, find out whether we are wheat or cockle.

 1. New Evangelization.
There can never be a 'new' evangelisation. There is no such thing as a 'new' way of entering the Catholic Church or a new way of saving one's soul. If ever there is a 'new' way, who made it? For sure a mere human out there to deceive souls. Only Christ can teach how to evangelise because He alone knows the way to heaven having come from there and having gone back there; aside from being the God who dwells there.
Pope Benedict and Pope John Paul II, who popularise the term 'new' evangelisation made it very clear that this 'new' evangelisation is the old classical evangelisation described by Christ in the Apostolic Commission in the last chapter of the Gospel of St. Matthew.
Everybody is using the word 'new' evangelisation, like the last seminar in the Philippines. But it has, absolutely,  no semblance with the 'new' evangelisation of Popes Benedict XVI and John Paul II. It looks, merely, man-made. So it surely will not work.

2. A problem from the very beginning.
In the bishop's Synod of 2012, 'The new evanlization for the transmission of the Christian Faith,' Pope Benedict emphasised that they should discuss the  two important elements of evangelisation that is emphasised  during the 16th weekday in ordinary time in the Liturgy; namely, a good preacher and a good disciple. They did not. And no Synod had ever dealt with these two elements, up to the present, including in the last seminar in the Philippines. Without these two elements, that make up the seed and the soil, evangelization is useless because these two element make up the essence of evangelization.
In the Liturgy, Christ was always the preacher described in the Gospels. He was the perfect preacher and there is no problem there. The problem was always in the listeners; some were good listeners and others were not good listeners. So in the liturgy, there was no problem with the preacher; the problem was  with the listener.
When Christ ascended to heaven, the apostles took over as preachers; and there was no problem with them, either. The problem remained among the listeners.
But after the death of the apostles, problems begun to exist both in the preacher and the listeners. If the preachers are not qualified the listeners will not listen.

3. The problem on the preacher.
Christ was the exemplar of the good preacher; and the apostles who were personally trained by Christ, except Judas, were exemplars, too. But most of the preachers after the apostles were not qualified.
The Sunday Gospels after Pentecost describes the qualities of a good preacher. And St. Thomas of Aquinas describes these Evangelical qualities in his treatise on the priesthood and the episcopal state. This is briefly commented on by Garrigou - Lagrange in his commentary on St. Thomas Aquinas, Chapter 7 on his 'The priesthood and Perfection.' The requirements are very stringent, as narrow as the requirements for salvation and very few are able to conform to them.

Perfection is demanded from the bishops and a less degree of perfection is demanded from the priests. Both must be superior to the laymen in perfection because their duties is, not only to perfect themselves but to lead to some degree of perfection those constituents under them.  Christ said, 'no pupil can be better than his teacher, no servant better than his master.
Most priests and bishops fall short  from  this requirement. Thus they fail in their duties and do not benefit their constituents.
The lay people find themselves forced to work out the salvation of their souls all by themselves and depending on the mercy of God.

 4. Degree of perfection.
For laymen to  go to heaven they must have the perfection of Faith and some degree of Charity so that Faith is enlivened by Charity, i.e. Faith and Good works. Charity can only be perfected in heaven.
If priests, bishops and the Pope must lead souls to heaven they must have all the above and a little more, to lead the laymen to heaven. If they have less, they cannot lead anybody either into the Church or into everlasting life; because the teacher and the master must be a little better than their disciples, Dom Chautard in his  'Soul of the Apostolate' reminds us.
The description of a good preacher is this; first, he must have perfect Faith and the beginnings of the theological virtue of Charity. The bishop must have this in a higher degree than a priest; and both priest and bishop must have this in a higher degree than the laymen. Otherwise they cannot lead their constituents to these heights in the spiritual life.
Because priests, bishops and the Pope do not have these qualities, the institutional church look like a devastated vineyard.

5. Perfect Faith.
Perfect Faith means; firstly,  to know all the commands of Christ as found in the New Testament. And to know how those commands are to be put into practice as instructed by the Fathers of the Church. Secondly, he must have put into practice in some degree this knowledge, Thirdly, he must be able to teach his constituent how to have perfect Faith and the beginnings of Charity because that is the requirement to attain everlasting life for all.
The first is the way of evangelisation described by Christ in St.  Matthew. The priests, bishops and the Pope must first evangelise themselves before evangelising others.
The second is the degree of Charity priests, bishops and the Pope must have. The third is perfecting the Faith and initiating the listeners to the beginnings of Charity the result of which is their salvation.

6. The problem on the listeners.
Christ was the perfect preacher. But when He preached, some would learn nothing. While others would learn well. How come? They hear the same speaker.  The defect is on the listener, the soil. And not in the seeds, as the parable on the seeds described. As the Gospel on Friday of the  16th   week in ordinary time, it describes three kinds of bad soil. The hard soil, the soil filled rocks and a soil filled with weeds with thorns. These are souls occupied with worldly things instead of spiritual things.
St. Thomas described these soils thus; they did not believe the God of the Old Testament as one who rewards good and punishes evil. So they begun to abound in evil deeds, a continuous pleasing of the five senses. As a result they are not able to have the slightest Faith and never reach Charity.
The souls of the listeners are not appropriately prepared by the preachers who lack Faith and the beginnings of Charity, thus they did not understand any of the teachings of the Christ as proposed by the Catholic Church.

7. Conclusion.
The Gospels describes good seeds planted; but the Gospels shows three kinds of bad soils where the seeds could not grow well.  The present generation has been proven to be bad soil, i.e. bad listeners. So they will not believe even in the God of the Old Testament. Their punishment? They will believe anything; like global warming and that adulterers will go to heaven.
Can something worse happen? Yes, as the next Mass shows. When, not only are the listeners bad listeners, but the bad preacher  plants bad seed. And he, immediately, disappears so that men will not know who planted the bad cockles. When they wake up, they will only see the cockle but not the devil who planted it. But this will be another post.

CATHOLIC C H I N A - Quo Vadis?

   1. China and the Vatican.
The Vatican has joint the devil let loose who knows their time is short.  They must destroy souls as fast as they can. The time is of the essence. What? With the help of the Vatican?
This is a scenario allowed by God to test men for a last time. It has been prophesied in Scriptures; the abounding of sin in the world, the decay of Faith and the waxing cold of Charity among the clergy. A repetition of Good Friday today, year 2000 AD. So what else is new?

2. The devil let loose. GOOD FRIDAY.  China, all obstacles to your salvation will be thrown at you. Scriptures described this day as 'the releasing of Satan from the bottomless pit.'
The story on Pope Leo seeing Satan telling God to allow him a time to test men for one last time, and God saying 'Yes.' What? God said that! Yes. He has been testing angels and men since the beginning of time. What is one more time? A last time? And this is that last time, for me, for you, for China and the whole world.
Scriptures, especially the description of Holy Week and the Epistle of St. Paul to the Thessalonians, described this test. It is not a moment of triumph for Satan. It is the last test for mankind, from the Pope down to the cardinals, bishops, priests and laymen. And man is, sadly,  failing the test.   That sometimes the world is wondering, at the rate Catholics are failing the test, whether any Catholic will be left after this.
The devil let loose is best felt among the hierarchy, from the Pope down to the bishops and priests. Everybody seems to be possessed by Satan. Has God allowed this possession? Yes, just as Christ allowed the possession of Judas; just as Judas, himself, invited satan into himself.

3. Man has a mind and a free will .THE DEVIL CAN DO NOTHING TO STOP YOU.
Man was created to the image and likeness of God. He is free and not even God can force him. History had shown us that no hostile force in the history of the world was ever able to force a Catholic against his Faith. All the martyrs triumphed over their persecutors. And the Magisterium of the Church had confirmed this doctrine. No Catholic can be forced to be a communist.
4. The Vatican approves subjecting the underground Chinese Catholic Church to the communist regime of China.
The Vatican joins the devil by forcing the Catholics of China to  be communists.  That is like telling China to be automatically excommunicated. The Vatican is, in effect, transforming the Catholic church of China to become a schismatic Chinese church. That is an invitation to hell, courtesy of Cardinal Parolin.
The communist regime can only subject the Catholic Church physically. It cannot subject it spiritually. Again the devil had been trying to do this since the beginning of Christianity and have failed; because not even God can force the Catholics to go to heaven.  And nothing can the Communists of China do to the Catholic Church except to , themselves, deserve to go to hell for how they treat the Church, as St. Bellarmine wrote in his 'Marks of the true Church.'

5. A present trend in the Papacy of Pope Francis.
The Vatican is all out in destroying everything Catholic. It has begun in Pope Francis' first speech where he destroyed the doctrine of the three theological virtues. With that no Catholic could have remained Catholic.
He continues in destroying all good religious orders, with his 'Vultum Dei' and all comtemplative orders with 'Cor Orans'. He had suppressed all good Priestly fraternities,  good monasteries and convents through his Francisbishops. He had injected heresies in all his Papal visit to very Catholic nations, like Mexico, Poland, and Philippines where he insulted the Filipino woman by describing them as rabbits the way they breed children.
He strangles budding communities of Catholics in Japan, Korea where after his papal visit a strong current of secularism is sweeping away orthodoxy.
He calls meetings of Bishop's conferences to impose his errors, calls newly appointed  bishops to threaten them while appointing sexual perverts while retiring good cardinals and bishops.
He has encouraged pagans to remain pagans, Protestants to remain Protestants. Jews to remain Jews, Atheist to remain atheist, ........and told perverts that God made them that way, so rejoice and be thankful.
He encouraged the SSPX and the Orthodox to remain in their schism and instead  be united to the Vatican Church on their way to hell.

One cannot take away the impression that Pope Francis is all out to destroy the Catholic Church. If that is what he wants he can try it; but I will have nothing to do with him and his heresies, especially his 'there is no hell.'  I want that there is a hell so all the enemies of Christ will be separated from me and sent somewhere else.
Pope Francis' recent attempt is to destroy the Catholic Church in China, after he sowed heresies in the Catholic Church of Japan, Korea, Africa, Poland, Mexico, Eastern Europe and the Philippines. Can the Church in China save itself? Yes, in the same way She saved herself in the times of Nero, Dioclesian, Luther, Marat, Lenin, Hitler, Castro and Obama......because the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

6. How can Catholic China save herself. THE WAY CATHOLICS HAD BEEN SAVING THEMSELVES.
The same way the first Christians saved themselves all these centuries. Through Repentance, Faith, Hope and Charity. These four acts are acts of the mind and free will. Nobody can stop these, not even God, Himself. Because these are spiritual acts. When Christ taught these steps, it is clear that the help of the Pope, the Vatican, the Bishops' conference, the Nuncio, the Cardinals and those offices in Rome........are not needed for salvation. See for yourselves in the Apostolic Commission as explained by St.Thomas of Aquinas. All that is needed is your intellect and free will, that remains free under the worst conditions.
Let us briefly describe these steps.
     1. Repent for your past sins.
To repent, first, you must know your sins.  Since sins are disobediences to the commands of Christ, we must know the commands of Christ that had been disobeyed. There are commandments in the Old Testament and there are commands in the new Testament. You must know both and correct anything wrong in your mind and free will. Now, there will be many sins that you cannot recall. These are still sins that must be repented for. They are not excused because they are forgotten. As the Psalm tells us, we must still repent for these 'secret sins,' in the same way we repent for sins we remember. How do you do that? Well, repent for those forgotten or 'secret sins.' God would know what they are.
     2. Be sorry that those sins have offended God.
     3. Promise sincerely not to commit them again.
     4.  And make restitution, in some way, for those sins.
That is catechism lesson on repentance. If a soul repents perfectly for past sins, then God will grant him graces that will forgive all his past sins and enable him not to repeat those sins, again, in the future. Together with this grace, God will give him the infuse virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity.........by which he will know all the commands of God and be able to obey all those commands. Knowledge and obedience to all the Commands of Christ will make him a very good Catholic deserving everlasting life in heaven. He has become a saint. No need for Pope Francis, Cardinal Parolin. No need for the Vatican and no need for the Patriotic Church.  Just you and God, within your mind and heart.
 7.  Grace is needed in this endeavour.,
The Catholic Church of China will get this grace because of the many martyrs and persecuted Christians there. This grace which is the seed of the church,  is not given to places without martyrs.
It is more more difficult to be a good Catholic in the U.S., because it is more communist,  than in China. But there are no martyrs in the US; while there are in China, so this unique grace is there.

8. A defect in China's Catholicism. A DEFECT THAT MUST BE CORRECTED.
Like in the whole world, these four acts are not well explained by the bishops and priests. This was clear with the Chinese priests trained in secret here in the Philippines. It is noticeable that their catechetics was defective. Attempts were made to correct their catechetical errors and complete their instruction. But it was impossible as it was impossible to improve the curriculum of seminaries in Philippine. This defect was noticed in the entire Catholic world as noted in the 'Ratzinger Report.' But the grace of
God can correct this.
This defect cannot bring any soul into the Catholic Church nor in heaven. This is the state of the Catholic Church in China and in the entire world. The Vatican cannot help China. In fact, news show that the Vatican is the primary mover in destroying the Catholic Church in China. Ask Cardinal Zen.

9. Peace and order is the ideal climate for the growth and development of the Catholic.  But it is not necessary. The Catholic Church can grow in the most adverse conditions.
The good atmosphere is not present in China. It is neither in the US and Europe where the atmosphere of secularism and modernism are worst than  the communism in China. So the atmosphere in China is not a great disadvantage for Catholics there. It might be inconvenient but not detrimental.
But it is sad that Pope Francis and the Vatican Bureaucracy is contributing to this situation. Well, Pope Francis and the Vatican had always been known as Communist sympathiser. Remember when Pope Francis invited communist leaning Sanders to the Vatican and mistreated Trump's family; and how he treated well communist leaders, like Eve Morales, in the Vatican. He, also, treated Putin badly because he is no longer a communist but a very good Christian who have united Church and State in Holy Russia.
10. Catholic China,  save your souls even if Pope Francis  and the Vatican betrays you. You don't need them to be saved.  What you need is; repentance, Faith and the beginnings of Charity.....all of these are free gifts of God for your inviolable Mind and Free Will.  After a good repentance, pray for these in the secrecy of your minds and hearts. And you will be all right.

EL CAMINO DE SANTIAGO - A Mystical Journey.

 1. El Camino
A popular pilgrimage to Saint James, Spain.
Many might think it is popular because of the delicious Pamplonica chorizos or beautiful girls. Well, there might be some chorizos, but definitely a lot of beautiful sceneries. But even these cannot motivate all kinds of people of every age to make that long month arduous journey on foot, 780 kilometres, trekking on snow and mud, sleeping in common dorms plaque with snorrings, carrying a 10 pound Osprey knapsack and slowed down by foot blisters.
And yet all pilgrims are happy at the end, all looking healthy and peacefully staring at the sea at Finisterre. Why do they do such a physically punishing pilgrimage? To get a certificate from the sacristy of the Basilica? No.
Because they are able to touch the supernatural even for a brief moment. El Camino is to taste the monastic life for 30 years in a span of one month. It is a taste on how to enter the Catholic Church in the right way. It is a glimpse on how to go to heaven when one reaches the end of one's life as symbolised by Finisterre, the end of the world.
The pilgrimage is an outline on the dogma, morals and ascetical theology involved in the salvation of one's soul. It is the outline on how to acquire the infused knowledge and wisdom necessary to become a 'Child of God.' But it is only an outline. It does not bring the soul to heaven. It merely gives the soul a taste of the supernatural in a world that lives in the natural and even in the unnatural.

2. Just like the Catholic religion.
Just like the Catholic religion, 'El Camino' have had many changes and additions, more comforts and more distractions. But essentially it is still there and can benefit the pilgrim.
'El Camino' is like a sacrament. It is a Liturgical activity like all processions and pilgrimages. They are external sigs of hidden spiritual realities. It is an external activity that shows the spiritual journey of a soul to God. Let us now go to the spiritual realities based on the Gospels and describe the general principles.

3. The beginning.
In one's spiritual journey to God, you cannot begin anywhere you like. To receive the Compostela certificate, you have to start from one of the ten official designated point. And in the spiritual life, this point of departure will dictate whether you go to heaven or to purgatory. So the different kinds of certificates.

4.     THE FIRST PRINCIPLE. This starting point in the spiritual life that leads inside the Church is identical for apostles, publicans, young rich men and married couples. That covers all the kinds of pilgrims. It is, in fact, the main theme of Pope John Paul II's 'Veritatis Splendor.' Christ said; 'Go home, sell all your things, give it to the poor and come follow Me.
The first step in 'El Camino' is to stick to essentials and leave everything else behind. Every unnecessary burden can be detrimental in reaching the goal, Compostela. Other things will be provided, sleeping areas, meals, bathrooms. This first step is very important. Just as there are instructions on what to bring, Scriptures, too, has a list on what to bring, the necessities for the pilgrimage, not for a holiday.

5. The walk.
The next element is the walk which begins with the Old Testament and proceeds to the New Testament. It seems to be boring walking for a whole month on foot, seeing only fields and occasional civilisation. This is the a disciplinary exercise in doing the same monotonous thing but gradually going deeper and getting more  exciting as the monotonous activity progresses.
The three important mental activities during the walk are; one, prayer. Second, fasting and thirdly, good works. The Pilgrim must constantly be praying, St.Augustine describes prayer as looking forward to the goal of heaven, i.e. looking forward to St. James' relic at Santiago de Compostela.
The churches on the way will remind you that this is a journey of unceasing prayer, desiring to reach heaven personified in Santiago. It is good to stop in every Church and pray for graces to persevere in the walk.
There is the fasting in the giving up of numerous home and city comforts in that tiring progression towards the goal not in sight but believed in Faith. The discomfort and pains in  the senses,  during the whole trip, will remind you the need for fasting.
Then, good works  , in which the Pilgrim encourages, in many ways,  other pilgrims to persevere to finish the 'Camino.' And to show gratitude to the host of the dorms along the way.

6. The three levels of consciousness.
When the Pilgrim begins the 'Camino' he is still in the natural or physical level with the world and the physical need for 'Camino' filling up his mind. As the walking progresses, his mind forgets the worldly problems and he goes deeper into himself, on who he is and where he should be going to. Hopefully, when he reaches Santiago de Compostela, he should have raised his hands and touched the supernatural and Divine heights.
The goal of the 'Camino' is to be able to raise man from the natural level and touch heaven. This reaching out and touching is temporary because the 'Camino' is just experiencing how it feels to touch the heavens. The real, permanent touching and union with heaven occurs when the Pilgrim puts the 'Camino' which is only a touching, into full reality by living the fulness of the monastic or Catholic life. Most pilgrims show this exact feeling at Santiago de Compostela without realising what the feeling really is. But they have this mystical, though, temporary experience. And that is more than enough for the journey, at least for the meantime.

7. A school of learning.
The 'Camino' shows us how the Catholic Faith is learned. It is learned through obedience to the command of Christ who gave this specific command to Peter and Andrew, James and John, Matthew,
Ananias and Saphira, and the young rich man. It is actually given to all Catholics as the necessary condition to enter the Catholic Church; 'to go home, sell all your things, give it to the  poor. And come follow Christ.
The Pilgrims are not required to sell all their things and give it to the poor. They may keep all their possessions at home; but they should not take them during the 'Camino' where the are not really following Christ, yet. But it is good enough.  The Pilgrim   experience, even for a moment, how it feels to 'go home leave all things, give it to the poor and follow Christ in the 'Camino'. Because for a moment they will have nothing of those things. Then there is a momentary exhilaration in 'seeing' the fact of Christ in Compostela. It is a mystical reward, though temporary, after having shown their month long journey, their desire for God's presence.
The ambiance is perfect. No worldliness, just fields, rivers, nature, snow and mud.  The pilgrim is away from the 'world' as St. Augustine described the 'bad world,' an instrument of the devil to tempt men.

8. The towns.
The towns that the 'Camino' passes through are good reminders that the pilgrim is still in this world with all its dangers. And most pilgrim enjoys the brief tryst with the world; this should have been minimised. But the ruckus and provincial celebrations together with the worldly conversations  are a little corruption of the 'Camino,' which the pilgrim should minimise to get the full spiritual benefit of the pilgrimage. But it is tolerable.

9. Stick to the signs.
The pilgrim is guided by signs of the right direction towards Compostela. This is very important. In the spiritual life, we must constantly double check if we are in the right direction, a practice the pilgrim must never neglect in the 'Camino.' A map, a reliable GPS and the countless signs showing yellow arrows, seashells and the cursillo cross...plus the large signs should lead the pilgrim right on track. It is like using Scriptures and the Tradition of the Church
constantly in guiding one's spiritual life

10. Where are the lesson in the 'Camino' stored.
It is in the memory that is available to the intellect always. This is the work of God so that the pilgrim can pull lessons from the memory, transfer them to the intellect, then meditate in it...... and treasuring the experience in his heart. Not in the cell phone camera or video camera which should be minimised, too.
Walking in haste. Mary was described as going in haste to help Elizabeth in her pregnancy. St. Thomas emphasised the importance in doing with haste all the things pertaining to doing God's Will. In the 'Camino' it is important to walk in haste to reach the next town before dark, and have bed accommodations and a good hot meal. We should not exposed ourselves to unnecessary dangers; either in life, in the 'Camino',  or in the spiritual life.

11. Treasuring ties of friendships. The community.
The community, the Catholic Church is the place within which man works the salvation of his soul. Not outside. So the entire atmosphere in the 'Camino' is such. All the co-pilgrims are familiar companions, the entire route is filled with friends.
Ties made in the 'Camino' is an experience of being inside the Catholic Church where the ties of Charity, a most lasting relationship results by an act of the Holy Spirit. In the Camino, it is a touch of Charity that is experienced. It is more emotional than virtuous but it is precious enough to be remembered and kept.

12. Double friendship.
In primitive Christianity, the entire family work out is salvation. It should be like that. It is unimaginable for a husband to work out his salvation without his wife and children. The first Christian communities were like that, like the communities of St. Basil
So it is good if the entire family to walk the 'Camino' together. There is a double treat; the joy of walking with one's own family, and the joy of walking with the extended family, the Church. Again, this is just a taste. St. Basil describes the real 'Camino' in the spiritual life.

13. The Mass at the cathedral.
The grand Mass at the Cathedral is a briefer summary of the 'Camino.' Both the Mass and the 'Camino' are summaries on how to save one's soul.
Then the pilgrim takes a few more steps and reaches the Finisterre, the end of the world. It shows that if you take the real 'Camino' and the Mass seriously into practice, if you die or reach the end of your life, which is identical to reaching the end of the world, then you are ready to face your Judge and receive a favourable judgment; 'come, faithful servant and receive the reward that has been prepared for you since the beginning of the world.'
     Buen Camino!

'They reported to Him WHAT THEY HAD DONE AND TAUGHT' - - 16th SUNDAY in Ordinary Time.

 1. How the Church functions.
These Sundays in ordinary time, describes how the elements of the Church functions. How the Pope, bishops and priests function. And how the lay people should respond to the teachings of the preachers. The Gospel today describes agains how everybody functions within the Church in order to keep it One, Holy, Catholic Apostolic.
If there is any dysfunction in the Church it cannot attain Oneness, Holiness, Catholicity and Apostolicity. All the elements that make up the Church must function well, and the Gospels of the Liturgy during these Sundays in ordinary time describes these functions. The Church today walks like a cripple because some of her elements are not functioning well; and the Gospel blames both the priests, bishops and the Pope on one hand; and the lack of interest amongst the crowd on the other hand.

2. The Pope, bishops and priests.
The Gospel says that the apostles, i.e. the preachers (Pope, bishops and priests) should 'return to Jesus and report to Him all that they had done and what they had taught.' So they can find out if they have taught and done what Christ had commanded them to do. Christ would, of course, correct any diversion from His instructions. That is the way to maintain continuity in Catholic doctrine.
Man, by nature, tends to change original instructions to suit their personal feelings, as Adam and Eve did. This tendency is called 'original sin.'  It never left man even after Baptism. It is still there up to the present. So we expect man to repeat this defect. And Christ knows this. So He ordered his first apostles to return to Him after their preaching, to report to Him what they have preached and done.
He, also, commanded them to report to Him the happenings during their preaching, St. Thomas writes. So the apostles reported to Christ the beheading of John the Baptist; so they can re-adjust their preachings and timetables to recent events.
To be able to report to Christ frequently,  they should never be far away from Christ so as to easily return to Him. This does not refer to physical nearness, but a spiritual presence in unceasing prayer referred to as moments of rests.

3. 'Come by yourselves to an out-of-the-way place and rest a little.'
The most tiring activity that requires some rest is when listeners do not believe. This tires the preacher. However, the preacher are rested when listeners believe.
So when Christ brought his apostles to rest for a while, He brought them to an out-of-the-way place. This is practically an invitation to a monastic environment; a place of silence and solitude. And away from the noise and concerns of the world. And what are they suppose to do here? To rest; i.e. to perfect one's Faith.

4. To rest.
To rest does not mean physical rest. It is a time for contemplation to increase and perfect the Faith of the apostles. This is resting. During this rest they will check if they have preached exactly what Christ told them to preach; and to check if they had done things in exactly the way Christ told them to do. They will then modify their activities according to current events, like after the  beheading of St. John the Baptist. But in this rest Christ went with them because Christ will be guiding their contemplation, their examination and the modification of their activities.
The apostles found great rest when they are able to dispose souls to receive the grace of God.
They, also,  returned to Christ to give thanks to Him for working through them in the salvation of souls.

5. They had no time to eat.
St.Thomas wrote that evangelisers do not have time to eat; meaning, when you are saving souls there is no time for anything else. There is even no time to rest physically nor retire from the job.  To rest means to contemplate to recharge one's own soul to continue in the activity of evangelising.
St. Thomas, also, wrote that the apostles were reminded not to over step the bounds of the office committed to them. Pope Francis is not only teaching a lot of un-Christly doctrines, he is, also,  overstepping his office. He went beyond his office when he commanded the Chinese Catholics to put themselves under communist Chinese rule. Catholics should only be under Christ the King. Not under any human. He, also, over stepped the bounds of his office when he excused sinners and encouraged them to continue in their sins of infidelity and sodomy. He had no right nor power to exempt anyone from the commands of God.

6. The testing of the people.
As usual Christ is constantly testing His listeners. So He left with His apostles without announcing where He was going to see if they would follow Him. The crowd pass the test because they hastened to where they suspected Christ was going and even arrived ahead of Him. This is the description of the men of Faith whom Christ would like to teach further through the life of contemplation.

7. They were like sheep without a shepherd.
The Jews had Pharisees who were no shepherds at all. They were leading souls away from the fountain of truth and life. Just like the Church today. There are no shepherds. What we have are hirelings and robbers. Stealing Catholics to join other religions or the new religion of Bergoglio which for all practical purposes is a new man-made religion, based on the heresy of Martin Luther proposed by Cardinal Kasper. Thus Bergoglio's new church of mercy is identical to Cardinal Kasper's Lutheran concept of mercy which tolerates all sins because God will understand man's weakness. It is not the mercy of the Beatitudes as explained by St. Augustine.

8. Today
Neither Pope Francis nor his Francisbishops check if what they teach and do are according to the teachings of Christ. The bishops of Germany, Malta and Argentina have allowed remarried people to receive Holy Communion, contrary to the instructions ofChrist.  In Germany they have allowed Protestants spouses to receive Holy Communion, contrary to the teachings of Christ on the Sacraments.
These bishops are teaching things contrary to the teachings of Christ and overstepping the bounds of the office committed to them. They are not gods to impose new morality.
At first sight, what Pope Francis  and bishop's conferences teach and do are against the teachings of Christ. Adulterers remarrying and receiving Holy Communion, Atheist go to heaven, any religion can save souls, evangelisation is forbidden, all those following the old Catholic religion are told to abandon it, there is no hell, that God made gays gay instead of making them to the image and likeness of God, etc..etc.. are all against the teachings of Christ.
And they are going out of bounds of the office given to them by permitting sins forbidden by God. They are not behaving like good apostles as described in todays Gospel. They are so different. Maybe they are shepherds of an entirely new man-made religion.

 1. Is it possible to have bad Popes and bad bishops?
Yes, because, like all men, they are given an intellect and a free will. With that free will they can go against God's commands. And that is sin.  Sin makes anyone bad. To be blind to the sins of Popes and bishops is to tolerate sin and that, in itself, is a sin; a lack of fraternal Charity, a very serious sin.

2. The promise.
The christian makes a promise during baptism, to live like a Child of God. If he does not keep this promise he sins. A husband makes a promise to be faithful to his wife till death. If he does not keep his promise he commits sin of adultery. A priest makes a vow to be celibate. He must keep it. A Pope makes a vow after his election to keep the Faith. If he does not do so, he sins against the Faith which is a serious sin. In general, we make promises to  obey the commands of God because, disobedience  to these commands, is the definition of sin.
The deep seated cause of all the problems in the world is because man does not keep his natural ingrained promise to God as a creature. Within the Catholic Church, the Pope, bishops, priests, religious and laymen do not keep their promise as creatures to their omnipotent Creator.

3. The Pope and the bishops.
We would like to focus our attention to the promises made to God by the Pope and the bishops, according to St. Thomas of Aquinas. The main reason why the Church is in utter confusion today is because Pope Francis and most of the bishops are not keeping their promises to God.
Let us first briefly review the general plan of salvation. To be saved we must, first, repent completely of our past sins. After which God gives us the grace of Faith. This Faith must be perfected, then God gives us the virtue of Hope. Then finally God gives us the gift of the beginnings of Charity. We are given the beginnings of Charity because Charity can only be perfected in heaven.
Seeing the general steps on how to go to heaven, let us now see the role of priests, bishops and the pope based on this plan. Let us begin with the Pope. The Pope, as head of the Catholic religion must be equipped with the perfection of the priesthood, i.e. he must have perfect Faith, Hope and the beginnings of Charity. He is not expected to have perfect Charity; but he must have the beginnings of Charity . He must have perfect Faith because aside from having Faith for his personal salvation, his role is to perfect the Faith of the Church.
With perfect Faith he will be endowed automatically with the
theological virtue of Hope. And because his role is to direct all Catholic souls to, at least, the beginnings of Charity, he must have the beginnings of Charity. If he has less than the above, then he will certainly be a bad Pope.
The bishops as auxiliaries in helping the Pope rule the Catholic world must have the same qualities as the Pope, i.e. perfect repentance, perfect Faith, Hope and the beginnings of Charity. The ordinary diocesan priest and religious priest are not required to have these qualities. If the bishops  have less than the above qualities, they will be bad bishops unable to do their duties of leading souls under them forward.
In short, the Pope and the bishops must have finished their life of repentance, they must have perfect Faith.  Hope and they must have the beginnings of the theological virtue of Charity.

4. No retirement for Popes and bishops.
It is for this reason, the attainment of their goal as bishops and Pope, that both cannot retire. For both to perfect their own life of repentance is already a life time work. What is the sign that they have perfected their life of repentance? St. Augustine writes; the sign that a soul has repented perfectly is that their past sins are forgiven and those same past sins are never committed again. If past sins keep on returning the possibility is great that those past sins are not forgiven due to an imperfect act of repentance.
The life of repentance is Old Testament spirituality. When a soul has repented perfectly of past sins, God grants this soul the grace of Faith that forgives all his past sins. It is Faith that forgives past sins.
So now the soul has the beginnings of Faith. This is usually described by Scriptures as 'weak Faith' of 'small Faith.' As long as this Faith is weak or small. It can easily be lost. A mere storm can wash this Faith away as what happened to the disciples. A little trial, a little problem, a misfortune, a doubt can eradicate this 'little Faith.' So Faith must grow; and it must grow to perfection. In the apostles, this perfection was attained on Easter.
Then on Pentecost, the apostles obtained the beginnings of Charity; when Christ breathed on them and said; 'Receive the Holy Spirit.Whatever sin you forgive......' And they further receive improvement of their Charity during Pentecost. The perfection of Charity will only be attained by the apostles in heaven.
The life of perfect repentance is attainable as humans. The perfection of Faith is totally a work of God, not of man. It cannot be rushed. So most men cannot attain the perfection of Faith. And the possibility that priest, bishops and Pope Francis has perfect Faith is nil; as can be seen in their disobediences to the commands of Jesus Christ. Faith is knowledge and obedience to all the commands of Christ. This Faith is absent in most priest, bishops and even in Pope Francis. Proof. Their way of life; their disobedience to the 6th and 9th commandments as see in 'amores laetitia.'
If repentance and perfect Faith is unreachable to most priest, bishops and even in Pope Francis, all the more the virtue of Charity which is totally a gift of God.  In the Liturgy, this was attained by living the spirituality of Easter and Pentecost; and the Liturgy clearly shows that most bishops and even Pope Francis has not reached this level of spirituality.
Can ordinary man see this absence? Yes, because the liturgy is a visible sign of invisible spiritual realities. By the visible signs found in the Gospels of Easter, Pentecost and the following Sundays, we can know the state of the spiritual life of bishops and Pope Francis. We cannot know their spiritual state but by their external actions, the state of their souls can be known. That is Liturgy.
Pope Francis is devoid of Charity in the way he treated good cardinals like Cardinal Burke; the way he treated good bishops like Livieres; the way he treated good orders like the Franciscans of the Immaculate, the way he treated lay group like the knights of Malta, the way he treated priests like the Priestly fraternity of the Holy Apostles, the way he treats monasteries of monks like Mariavald, etc...etc. When you have no Charity towards one, you have no Charity for all, St. Augustine writes.
While the opposite is true. He loves all the enemies of the Church; the pagans, the Protestants, the Jews who crucified the Messiah, the sexual perverts, etc. Most of Pope Francis' bishops are no different. And many priest are the same. What will you expect from the laymen who blindly follow them. Blind men following the blind. They will land in hell. Thanks to the blind leaders.

5 The Liturgy
Knowledge of the science of Liturgy enables man to know the state of the soul through understanding of the visible signs. And signs are showing that many of our priests, bishops and even Pope Francis are bad. Nobody's fault but theirs alone. Because, through carelessness, neglect or even ignorance they failed to repentant for their past sins and 'secret sins', shown by the fact that they still commit the same sins today; they did not perfect the very initial small Faith that they had if they ever had it. And due to the inability to perfect their Faith, God never gave them the virtue of Hope and Charity. In short, they never entered the Catholic Church that requires that its members must have the three theological virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity.
Unable to repent perfectly, the ordinary diocesan priest are not able to teach his parishioners basic repentance, the minimum requirement for the salvation of souls.
Unable to perfect their Faith and attain the beginnings of Charity, bishops and Pope Francis are unable to perform their duties towards their constituents. Unable to perform their duties towards their flocks, where do you expect them to go?

6. Christ prophesied these days.
The decay of Faith and the waxing cold of Charity, this was how Christ described these days. As usual He is right. That is what is happening today. Faith and Charity is nowhere to be found. Because the pope and majority of the bishops are negligent of their duties; because they do not study St. Thomas of Aquinas' treatises on the priesthood and the obligation of perfection for the episcopacy. So we end up with bad a bad pope, bad bishops and bad priests. Of course, there are a few good ones; but most probably they are not the ones assigned to our diocese or parish.

Prove that God exists.

 1. The division going on.
God is, continuously, testing mankind. Christ warned us; 'he who does not confess Me before man, I will not confess before My Father in heaven.' When we are confronted with a truth from Divine Revelation, 'to confess Christ' is for us to say with our tongue that this is a truth from Christ, I believe in this truth, I intend to put into practice.
To be silent in the face of an issue with regard to the truth, or worse, to go against that issue is to refuse 'to confess Christ'. It is like saying 'this is not a teaching of Christ, I do not believe Christ taught this and I will not abide by it.' Christ threatens that He will not confess this soul before the Father. St. Thomas Aquinas wrote; 'when he dies and face God in judgment, He will say 'I do not know him.'  This is sure damnation.

2. Issues.
Statements are flying in the air these days that are forcing men to confess Christ or not to confess Him, to take the side of right Catholic doctrine or to go against Catholic teachings. And the confusion that reigns in the world in general and in the Catholic Church in particular is becoming very evident. The confusion is due to the prevailing ignorance of the Catholic Faith in the pagan world who have had the opportunity to know Scriptures but did not grab the opportunity; and among the Catholics who has not been well catechised  by their bishops and priest for centuries.
There is a need to disentangle the confusion with the help of the patron saint of this process, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and clarify the issues so we can take the side of truth.
3. Can anyone prove that God exist.
Not scientifically but in some degree philosophically.  Though St. Thomas gave the now famous 5 proofs of the existence of God. His proofs were in the natural level, proof of a god of nature  but cannot prove the existence of a Divine and supernatural God.
Definitely not through a selfie nor proofs for having seen Him or talked to Him.
St. Paul wrote, that we can only know the existence of the true God by a mature human act enlightened by the theological virtue of Faith. Those who are immature and not enlightened with the theological virtue of Faith cannot prove that God exist. And most people, priest and bishops do not have this Faith, as we shall show momentarily.

4. St. Paul
The existence of God can only be experience through an act of Faith. St. Paul described Faith as 'the substance of things to be hoped for, the evidence of things that appear not.' And saying the same thing, St. Thomas of Aquinas wrote;'Faith is a habit of the mind whereby eternal life is begun in us making the intellect assent to what is non-apparent.' 'That appear not' and 'non-apparent' show the impossibility of proving the existence of God.
God's existence is experienced by the spiritual faculties of the soul, the mind (a habit of the mind) and free will. Note that the faculties involved are spiritual and, therefore, cannot be perceived by the senses, and cannot be proven experimentally.
So the existence of God is experienced spiritually and not physically. Only the spiritual man can experience the existence of God. The sensual man cannot experience the presence of God.
So only the man of Faith can have the infallible proof of the existence of God. Those without Faith cannot have proof that God exist.

5. Only the man of Faith has proof of the existence of God.
The gift of Faith gives man the certainty that God exist. This certainty is a gift infused in the mind of  man who receive Faith. It is not given to unbelievers because he does not believe.

6. How can the man of Faith share that certainty of the existence of God with others.
By the wisdom in their  words and the example of their holy lives that comes from Faith. St. Paul described the Faith of the Romans thus; 'your faith is known throughout the world.' So people who experienced the Faith of the Romans were convinced that there is a god. Knowing this, they developed the 'fear of God' which is the beginning of wisdom. With wisdom they begun to do all things with wisdom, they did everything right and well, i.e.  perfect society. The Romans were considered the best Catholic community.
If here in the Philippines there are people with Faith, those around will develop the 'fear of God,' which is the beginning to wisdom. Thus they will begin to act with wisdom. They will do all things right and well. There will be less problems.
The politicians will work for the common good. Soldiers, police will not intimidate the populace, the youth will be convinced drug is a menace, husband will not cheat on their wives, business tycoons will help the poor, the government will house the victims of superstorms, squatters, the homeless, those living in cemeteries; and constructions companies will not cheat on construction materials in government projects. And bishops and priest will preach and show in their lives their Catholic Faith thus fostering in the minds of men a sure proof that there is a God; thus breeding in the hearts of men the fear of God, and all Filipinos will act with wisdom.

7. Why Duterte must stay in office.
Because the bishops are not showing through words and in their lives the Catholic Faith. So men are not sure God exists. There is no 'fear of God.' And there is no wisdom around, neither in Congress nor in the Bishop's conference.
So the question raised is a valid theological question; Does God exist. The problem is not in the question. The problem is that those who are supposed to give the answer, Catholic Bishops and priests, are not giving the answers.
So we need Duterte to discipline the soldiers and the police, to control the politicians, the punish the rebellions, eliminate the drug problem and occasionally to test the theology of the Bishops. St. Paul reminds us that the civil authority, precisely, was given to us by God to maintain peace and order when the bishops have completely failed to install the 'fear of God' among the people.

8. The defect
The problem is not so much that the question was raised 'can anybody prove God exist?' The problem is that the Catholic bishops cannot answer the question, just as the Pope will not  answer the 'dubia' after more than 600 days. Like father, like son.

9. Who can prove the existence of God?
The man of Faith who has the theological virtue of Faith, thus who believe that there is a God with certainty, is the only man who can prove that there is a God. But he can convince others that there is a God through his words and life filled with Faith. Seeing him thus, others will not necessarily see God but can be convinced that there is a God.
St. Paul praised the Roman that their Faith was well known around the world. So through the words and life of the Romans, the whole world was convinced that God exist. How come the President is asking for proof of the existence of God? Because he sees that those assigned to prove it has no Faith to express in their words and actions that there is a God.
If our Catholic bishops and priests have Faith, and if that Faith shows in their words and actions, there will no need for police, for army, for justices, no president, no congress; because the entire nations will behave. There will be no rebellions, no drug addicts, no drug lords, no adulterers, no abortionist, etc. Because everybody will know God exist and will have the 'fear of God,'' that will make everybody behave.
But because most of the bishops and priest have no Faith;  they cannot prove the existence of God, therefore, there is no 'fear of God' which is the beginning of wisdom. Everybody is acting without wisdom.......or stupidly?

 1. The commands and the 'proper order' in obeying them.
To be saved, we must love God. And 'love of God' consist in obeying His commands, 'If you Love Me, keep My commandments.' And the commandments of God are found in the Old Testament and in its perfect form in the New Testament.
There are three steps we must take with regards the commands of God. First, we must know His commandments. In summary form, 10 commands in the Old and 2 in the New.
Secondly, we must know the literal and mystical interpretation on how to put those commands into practice.
Thirdly, they must be obeyed in their 'proper order.' Amongst the three theological virtues, Faith must come first, then Hope and lastly Charity. Charity is unattainable without Faith.
In the two great commands, Love of God must come first before love of neighbour. Because neighbours must be loved the way God had loved us. So 'love of God,' the model,  must be obeyed first, before love of neighbour.
In the general 'plan of salvation,' repentance must be obeyed first before the act of Faith. In fact, Faith is just a reward for a perfect repentance. God is a god of order. He wants all men to follow Him in an orderly fashion.

2. Pagans
In His great goodness, God has made available to the pagans the first step; He has given all the ability to know His commands. Just read Scriptures. But God does not give them the second and the third; without which they cannot be saved. Though in very special cases God had given these two steps to a few, thus they are saved.  But in general, pagans don't even study the commands of God in Scriptures.

3. Protestants
Many Protestants know Scriptures better than Catholics. They have even memorised Chapters with their paragraphs and line. But as it says, 'even the devil knows Scriptures.' God, ordinarily does not give them the second and the third forms of knowledge. Though John Newman acquired the second and the third while he was still an Anglican.........which made him, in fact, a Catholic even before he was baptised a Catholic.

4. Catholics.
What makes a Catholic is knowledge and practice  of the commands of Christ; after having known both the literal and mystical meaning of the commands and after knowing and obeying those commands in 'proper order.'

5. The story of Adam and Eve. Their sin was they did not observe the  proper order.
God gave Adam and Eve a command; to eat of the fruits of paradise. But God, also, gave them the order on how to eat the fruits. They should begin eating of the 'tree of Life.' And, then, later on, eat of the 'tree of the Knowledge of good and evil.' Both trees are good. The 'tree of life' is good. And the 'tree of knowledge of good and evil' is, evidently, very good. To know good from evil is the very foundation of Christian education so that man may do good and avoid evil. It is moral theology. So why was Adam and Eve punished for eating the latter? Because they changed the 'proper order' given by God. They ate the second tree and was punished in that they were deprived of the first tree. That is man today. We do not follow the 'proper order' and follow our own order based on our personal desires and pleasures; and not following the order God had given.  This is a serious sin  punishable as the original sin committed by Adam and Eve.  Adam and Eve should have gone to hell except for the promise of the Saviour whom they waited for. That was what saved them, the expectation of the coming Messiah.

6. The proper order in today's Gospel. Wednesday and Thursday, 14th weekday in Ordinary Time.
The Gospels shows Christ teaching the 'proper order' on how to preach, which nobody is following today. That is why very few is being converted.
After the fall, God would create more souls. And they have to undergo the same test as that of Adam and Eve. God will give them commands and the 'proper order' on how to obey them. This time it will be a little more complex. While Adam and Eve had one command, only, we will have many commands. While Adam and Eve had to worry only on one 'proper order,' this tree or that tree, we will have a more complex 'proper order.' But we will have graces to aid us in our ordeal.
To make the story short, God gave us many commands; Old Testament and New Testament commands. That is, already, the initial test. We have commands from two Testaments. And we must observe the 'proper order' by obeying, first, the Old Testament commands and, only afterwards, obey the New Testament commands. But let us reduce the complication of this treatise and proceed to the New Testament.

7. The New Testament.
God gave many commandments; and He gave the 'proper order' on how to obey them. This is the first command to be observed, this the second and this is the third, and so on and so forth. These commands are available to all men. They are found in Sacred Scriptures. Anybody can obtain a copy of it (it has been translated in many languages, so everybody can read them.)
But God did not give the correct interpretation to all. Christ gave it to his first apostles. His apostles gave it to the first Christian communities. And the Fathers of the Church extracted these teachings from the first Christian communities and compiled it in what we call Tradition of the Catholic Church. So in some way it is available only to those who zealously search for the truth and true meaning of the Words of Christ. This is not taught in seminaries and theological schools, much more so in secular Catholic schools.
Very few bishops and priest know this interpretation of the Words of Christ as found in Scriptures. Pope Francis does not seem to know it, due to the hermeneutics of discontinuity he follows wherewith majority of the bishops and priests believe that the writings of the Fathers of the Church do not apply to the present era. As if to say.....souls today do not have to be saved because they can do it by themselves. That is worse than saying, 'Just say 'Jesus is Lord' and you are saved.'  Today you don't have to say anything to be saved.
While few know the commandments of Christ in the New Testament and fewer know the Fathers of the Church, absolutely nobody knows the 'proper order' in obeying those commands. Why?
When the evangelist wrote down Scriptures, Christ told them to jumble up His teachings so that those who are not truly seeking God will be confused so they cannot see the 'proper order' by which the teachings of Christ must be obeyed. Christ intentionally did that, according to St Augustine. The first step is found at the end of the Gospel, the last step at the middle and the middle at the beginning. It is impossible for the unbeliever to know the 'proper order' on how to obey the commands. Utterly impossible. And Christ made it that way. So only the true seeker of God can find Him.

8. The man of Faith.
Only those with Faith can know the complete  list of commands. Unbelievers can only know a part. Only believers can know the literal and mystical interpretation of those commands. Only believers can know the  'proper order' by which those commands must be observed. Thus the true man of Faith is one who has put into practice the teachings of Christ following these three steps, possible only with the help of God's grace.
So Christian education is learning how to get that grace instead of learning those three steps.
9. Religious founders.
Why did God raise up religious founders when the way of salvation had already been shown in the above three steps; namely, knowing the commands,  knowing its spiritual interpretation and knowing the 'proper order' of its execution? Because mankind always forget these three steps. So religious founders, like St. Benedict, St. Dominic, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Ignatius, St. Phillip Neri, St. John Viannery, etc. etc. were raised by God to remind us of the three above mentioned stages. And one of the clearest presentation of the above three steps was done by St. Benedict in his Holy Rule for monasteries. Nothing can be clearer. But even Benedictine don't read their rule as other order either.
These three steps are further confirmed by the complete cycle of the Liturgy, A, B and C. Both the Holy Rules and the Liturgy had been so distorted, it no longer serves it purpose
And so we have a Catholic Church who does know the complete commands of Christ, who does not know the literal and mystical interpretation of those commands....and does not know the 'proper order' on how to observe those commands. And the most outstanding example of this worldwide ignorance is shown by Pope Francis, the Catholic bishops conferences in the issue of immigrants.
The Vatican Church does not know the command on Charity, the very essence of the Catholic Church. They do not know the literal and spiritual interpretation on how to practice Charity. And they do not know the 'proper order' in practicing Charity. Neither Pope Francis, nor the US bishops, nor the European bishops, nor the South American bishops, nor the Philippine bishops.
Yet the 'proper order' of Charity is observed by Putin, Trump, the heads of Austria, Hungary, Poland, Italy and lately by Bulgaria. They did not quote Catholic Doctrine. But their national policy, i.e. US first, Russia first, Hungary first, Poland first, Italy first, etc... coincides with the true theological virtue of Charity as expounded by St.  Augustine and Thomas of Aquinas which states 'Charity begins at home.'

10, The 'proper order' in the observance of Charity.
St. Thomas showed the 'proper order' in showing Charity. Love God first, then your husband or wife, then your children, then your other relatives. Then, let us expand it to our townsman, our province mage, our own countrymen. Here we end with Russia, America, Poland, Austria, England, Bulgaria, Italy.....FIRST.
Let us go back in detail. It means the US must first solve its problem with trade balance, those discontented communist legislators, the corruption FBI and Justice system, the machinery of Soros, the remnants of Obama and Clinton, the Catholic bishops conference, the drug and opioid problem, the Federal reserve run by Jews, etc, etc.
After solving all its national problems which will not end during this lifetime, it is time to go abroad. As a Christian nation the US must first welcome Christians from the Middle East, from Africa, from South America. They must be first according to the 'proper order' of Charity. That should fill up the US with no space for anybody else. In the Philippines, after the government has solved the problem of the economy, the Spratly, the squatters, the garbage, the Filipinos living in cemeteries, etc., then it must proceed in receiving Catholic migrants from Syria, Nigeria, Nicaragua, Indonesia, etc. Catholics first, Charity demands.
So when Pope Francis refused to take in a Christian at Lesbos and instead took in non-christians, it showed his total ignorance of true Charity. His visit there was pure public relation gimmick.
The rule of Charity is; if there is nothing more to give, then you are not obliged to give.

11. This violation of the 'proper order' in the practice of Charity is a blatant violation of Catholic teaching. Why is the head of the
Church its main propagator? And why is her bishops their most zealous proponents? This is like a proposal for a husband to love his neighbours wife ahead of his own wife. It is plain adultery. And this issue on immigration proposed by Pope Francis and his followers, from Merkel to Macron, from Trudeau to May, is spiritual adultery....a term none of them have ever thought of because they are looking at it as a political view. They fail to see the spiritual consequence of this issue. No fault that they are ignorant. But Pope Francis should know better and yet he knows nothing about Charity and the order it should be observed. Not knowing the very essence of Catholicism. This is inexcusable. It is a mortal sin. Imagine how many are committing mortal sins due their stand on immigration. Oh, I am not a Catholic. Sorry, it is the law of the God who is going to judge you when you die.
Your punishment? Christ said; 'worse than Sodom and Gomorrah.

School of the Lord's service. Two MAJOR defects in the Church.

 1. A school of the Lord's service.
We are all acquainted with a good school setting. Essentially, there must be a good teacher and a good student. But there is a big difference between an ordinary school and a school of the Lord's service. The former have worldly goals, while the latter have heavenly goals. The former is aimed at serving mankind; the latter is for the service of God. So there are differences.
The final goal of the school of men is the common good, i.e. good politics. The final goal of the school of the Lord's service is the salvation of man's soul and the glory of God.
Both are needed. The former for natural happiness, the latter is essential for eternal happiness. The school of the Lord's service is the evangelisation of men as summarised in the last chapter of St. Matthew. Evangelisation was described by St. Matthew in his 'Apostolic Commission.' It was described by St. Benedict, in detail, in his  'School of the Lord's service,' which is the monastic life.
The monastic life is putting into practice the 'Apostolic Commission.' It is establishing the community that makes up the Catholic Church; it is the acquiring of the theological virtue of Faith that leads to Charity. It is meant for all for the salvation of their soul and to glorify God. It was lived by Christ during His 30 years of hidden lie. It is a life that must be hidden from the world, thus the classical term 'fuga mundo,' a fleeing away from the world well described by St. Augustine in his 'City of God.'
The process of evangelisation is the process by which good teachers and good students are produced. Teachers must be more perfect, while the students are less perfect.

2. The two elements of education.
We have seen the two important elements of education; a good teacher and a good student. The crisis in the Church today is due to the absence of both; there are no good teachers and no good students. When we say 'crisis in the Church,' we mean the problem of those who are outside the Church. What is that problem? They are still outside the Church, but they erroneously think they are inside the Church. Now, that is really a big problem. It is akin to the Pharisees who were great sinners but who thought they were righteous. Just an old problem continuing up to the present. Nothing new here.
The solution is very simple. Have good teachers and good students. But both solution is a wonderful work of God's grace. Unless God, Himself, solve it, it cannot be solved. Man, even with 10 Ecumenical Councils will not solve that problem. Pius the XII said so. That is why Pius XII rejected holding Ecumenical Councils to solve the Church's problems. He knew only God can solve the problems of the Church. It is a spiritual problems. We will need spiritual physicians.
The choosing of a good teacher and a good student are works of God's grace. People do not volunteer for such positions.

3. The Liturgy.
The post Easter Liturgy described Christ teaching, just like in a school. We see the problem in each Gospel......a good teacher and good and bad students; believers and non-believers.
From the beginning, the world have had false prophets, false teachers, false preachers, etc. That was a problem, then, with the teachers. There were many  bad teachers. So God, Himself, had to raise the good teachers in the good prophets. But even good teachers had a problem. The New Testament teachings were beyond their capabilities. Even St. John the Baptist, the best amongst the prophets was not good enough to teach the New Testament. So Christ, personally, had to teach to set an example.
Then Christ chose a set of new teachers, the apostles and trained them personally, by word and example, how to be good teachers. The training was impossible for any human being. The apostles had to be like gods, or at least to be like angels, to be good teachers. Even St. Augustine referred to such training as a school of angels.

4. The good teachers.
Good teachers were personally taught and chosen by God, Himself. The problem before was for those who were not taught and chosen by God, to pretend that they are good teachers. The true prophets and the apostles were good teachers. Today, we do not have such souls. We only have self appointed teachers or appointed by schools of theology or by ignorant bishops and incompetent Popes who forget they are mere men who cannot commission true preachers. Popes, bishops and priests are not automatically good teachers. Imagine those 'preachers of mercy' appointed by mere men with no training at all, sent all around to absolve all kinds of sin. Do you think it is working? Both elements of education are absent; the good teachers and the good students.
During the life time of Christ, since it was Christ Who was preaching, there was no problem with having a good teacher. The only problem in the Old Testament was false teachers and/or incomplete knowledge in the good teachers (like in the case of St. John the Baptist.) The incomplete knowledge was solved by Christ in the New Testament. The new well-trained apostles will continue the tradition of good teachers. How they were trained can be found in the spirituality of the entire Liturgical Year.
Christ raised, personally,  the first good teachers of the New Testament in the person of the apostles. Though one still turned out to be bad, Judas. The continuity of the training of good teachers became of paramount importance in the Catholic Church. There were, always, problems in the process of continuity. The continuity always broke. So there were many gaps in the history of the Church when there were no good teachers. These gaps tend to be prolong because to resume continuity is a work of God, not of men; that is why ecumenical councils and bishop's conferences are useless. As Ratzinger put it; it is just a social meet wherein bishops just slap each other's back.
Good teachers are provided by God as He sees fit. It depends on  the number of good students. God sees to the continuity in providing the Church with good teachers. The devil will, always, insert his human co-horts in between. But the Church will know which is which.
The heresy of the hermeneutics of discontinuity entered Vatican II and now rules the church with the Papacy of Pope Francis because men, and not God, is trying to dictate the direction of the continuity in the line of good teachers by inserting their bad teachers.  It is in being good students that man has a role. So let us concentrate more on this.
Christ is the one teaching through good teachers, not men. So nothing to worry though we are surrounded by very bad teachers. We will, always, hear the voice of Christ if we are good students. ' My sheep knows my voice.' If we are bad students, we will hear the countless voices of bad teachers.
God will send good teacher sdepending on the good students. God will not sent good teachers when there are no good students. As is happening all over Europe.

5. The good students.
The problem in the Old Testament that continued in the New Testament was that there were few good students....that is the human race. It was the problem from the beginning. It is still the problem today.
It will be noticed that whenever Christ would teach, it was obvious that there was a good teacher. But there were always two kinds of students; the good ones and the bad ones. The good ones, usually the disciple, always understood the teaching. While the bad students did not understand  anything. The good ones believed; the bad ones did not believe. It was always the scenario in all the Gospel description when Christ preached.
From the very same Gospel, it was shown why the good students believed and why the bad students did not believe. So we just have to imitate the good students.  In all the Gospels; we see a Good Teachers, then we see good and bad students.
The good and bad teachers are still there. The good and bad students are still there. Except that, today, we have much more bad teachers and much more bad students. We just have to limit ourselves in finding out who are the good teachers and good students and make sure we are amongst them.

6. How to be a good student.
Christ gave the formula; 'Learn from Me for I am meek and humble of heart.' That' s it and that is all. Meekness and Humiity are essentially identical. And there are twelve degrees of humility.
The first degree of humility is the 'fear of God' which will give us entrance into the Catholic Church. But that is only the entrance. Good teachers must, still, have to go deeper and reach the 12th degree of humility, that will be the beginnings of the theological virtue of Charity. Charity can only be improved and perfected in heaven.
A good student is one who works and aim, at least,  to attain the beginnings of the humility of Christ. This is a gift from God; it is given to students who are 'good,' as defined by St. Augustine. To receive this gift from God the student must believe in the true God. He must believe that this God sent His Son to become man to teach men the way to salvation. That this Son taught commands for men to observe. And he must 'fear' that if he does not observe these commands he will go to everlasting fire. Note the process to attain this 'fear.' This is not mere emotional fear. It is an act of the intellect. He knows that if he does not conform to a way life prescribed by this Omnipotent God, he will be punished for all eternity. This 'fear' does not exist in the world today. It does not even exist among Catholics. Since there are no good students God does not see the need to choose and raise good teachers. So we do not have good teachers and good students.
How can we have the 'fear of God,' which is the beginning of wisdom when Pope Francis and many bishops, like the vice President of the CBCPhilippines believe there is no hell. I guess because there is no wisdom amongst them from whence 'fear' proceeds. Will there  ever be good teachers in the future? In truth, there are right now.  But very few. Because there are very few good students. And they are holding their classes in some undisclosed areas.........like the desert?
