 1. Is it possible to have bad Popes and bad bishops?
Yes, because, like all men, they are given an intellect and a free will. With that free will they can go against God's commands. And that is sin.  Sin makes anyone bad. To be blind to the sins of Popes and bishops is to tolerate sin and that, in itself, is a sin; a lack of fraternal Charity, a very serious sin.

2. The promise.
The christian makes a promise during baptism, to live like a Child of God. If he does not keep this promise he sins. A husband makes a promise to be faithful to his wife till death. If he does not keep his promise he commits sin of adultery. A priest makes a vow to be celibate. He must keep it. A Pope makes a vow after his election to keep the Faith. If he does not do so, he sins against the Faith which is a serious sin. In general, we make promises to  obey the commands of God because, disobedience  to these commands, is the definition of sin.
The deep seated cause of all the problems in the world is because man does not keep his natural ingrained promise to God as a creature. Within the Catholic Church, the Pope, bishops, priests, religious and laymen do not keep their promise as creatures to their omnipotent Creator.

3. The Pope and the bishops.
We would like to focus our attention to the promises made to God by the Pope and the bishops, according to St. Thomas of Aquinas. The main reason why the Church is in utter confusion today is because Pope Francis and most of the bishops are not keeping their promises to God.
Let us first briefly review the general plan of salvation. To be saved we must, first, repent completely of our past sins. After which God gives us the grace of Faith. This Faith must be perfected, then God gives us the virtue of Hope. Then finally God gives us the gift of the beginnings of Charity. We are given the beginnings of Charity because Charity can only be perfected in heaven.
Seeing the general steps on how to go to heaven, let us now see the role of priests, bishops and the pope based on this plan. Let us begin with the Pope. The Pope, as head of the Catholic religion must be equipped with the perfection of the priesthood, i.e. he must have perfect Faith, Hope and the beginnings of Charity. He is not expected to have perfect Charity; but he must have the beginnings of Charity . He must have perfect Faith because aside from having Faith for his personal salvation, his role is to perfect the Faith of the Church.
With perfect Faith he will be endowed automatically with the
theological virtue of Hope. And because his role is to direct all Catholic souls to, at least, the beginnings of Charity, he must have the beginnings of Charity. If he has less than the above, then he will certainly be a bad Pope.
The bishops as auxiliaries in helping the Pope rule the Catholic world must have the same qualities as the Pope, i.e. perfect repentance, perfect Faith, Hope and the beginnings of Charity. The ordinary diocesan priest and religious priest are not required to have these qualities. If the bishops  have less than the above qualities, they will be bad bishops unable to do their duties of leading souls under them forward.
In short, the Pope and the bishops must have finished their life of repentance, they must have perfect Faith.  Hope and they must have the beginnings of the theological virtue of Charity.

4. No retirement for Popes and bishops.
It is for this reason, the attainment of their goal as bishops and Pope, that both cannot retire. For both to perfect their own life of repentance is already a life time work. What is the sign that they have perfected their life of repentance? St. Augustine writes; the sign that a soul has repented perfectly is that their past sins are forgiven and those same past sins are never committed again. If past sins keep on returning the possibility is great that those past sins are not forgiven due to an imperfect act of repentance.
The life of repentance is Old Testament spirituality. When a soul has repented perfectly of past sins, God grants this soul the grace of Faith that forgives all his past sins. It is Faith that forgives past sins.
So now the soul has the beginnings of Faith. This is usually described by Scriptures as 'weak Faith' of 'small Faith.' As long as this Faith is weak or small. It can easily be lost. A mere storm can wash this Faith away as what happened to the disciples. A little trial, a little problem, a misfortune, a doubt can eradicate this 'little Faith.' So Faith must grow; and it must grow to perfection. In the apostles, this perfection was attained on Easter.
Then on Pentecost, the apostles obtained the beginnings of Charity; when Christ breathed on them and said; 'Receive the Holy Spirit.Whatever sin you forgive......' And they further receive improvement of their Charity during Pentecost. The perfection of Charity will only be attained by the apostles in heaven.
The life of perfect repentance is attainable as humans. The perfection of Faith is totally a work of God, not of man. It cannot be rushed. So most men cannot attain the perfection of Faith. And the possibility that priest, bishops and Pope Francis has perfect Faith is nil; as can be seen in their disobediences to the commands of Jesus Christ. Faith is knowledge and obedience to all the commands of Christ. This Faith is absent in most priest, bishops and even in Pope Francis. Proof. Their way of life; their disobedience to the 6th and 9th commandments as see in 'amores laetitia.'
If repentance and perfect Faith is unreachable to most priest, bishops and even in Pope Francis, all the more the virtue of Charity which is totally a gift of God.  In the Liturgy, this was attained by living the spirituality of Easter and Pentecost; and the Liturgy clearly shows that most bishops and even Pope Francis has not reached this level of spirituality.
Can ordinary man see this absence? Yes, because the liturgy is a visible sign of invisible spiritual realities. By the visible signs found in the Gospels of Easter, Pentecost and the following Sundays, we can know the state of the spiritual life of bishops and Pope Francis. We cannot know their spiritual state but by their external actions, the state of their souls can be known. That is Liturgy.
Pope Francis is devoid of Charity in the way he treated good cardinals like Cardinal Burke; the way he treated good bishops like Livieres; the way he treated good orders like the Franciscans of the Immaculate, the way he treated lay group like the knights of Malta, the way he treated priests like the Priestly fraternity of the Holy Apostles, the way he treats monasteries of monks like Mariavald, etc...etc. When you have no Charity towards one, you have no Charity for all, St. Augustine writes.
While the opposite is true. He loves all the enemies of the Church; the pagans, the Protestants, the Jews who crucified the Messiah, the sexual perverts, etc. Most of Pope Francis' bishops are no different. And many priest are the same. What will you expect from the laymen who blindly follow them. Blind men following the blind. They will land in hell. Thanks to the blind leaders.

5 The Liturgy
Knowledge of the science of Liturgy enables man to know the state of the soul through understanding of the visible signs. And signs are showing that many of our priests, bishops and even Pope Francis are bad. Nobody's fault but theirs alone. Because, through carelessness, neglect or even ignorance they failed to repentant for their past sins and 'secret sins', shown by the fact that they still commit the same sins today; they did not perfect the very initial small Faith that they had if they ever had it. And due to the inability to perfect their Faith, God never gave them the virtue of Hope and Charity. In short, they never entered the Catholic Church that requires that its members must have the three theological virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity.
Unable to repent perfectly, the ordinary diocesan priest are not able to teach his parishioners basic repentance, the minimum requirement for the salvation of souls.
Unable to perfect their Faith and attain the beginnings of Charity, bishops and Pope Francis are unable to perform their duties towards their constituents. Unable to perform their duties towards their flocks, where do you expect them to go?

6. Christ prophesied these days.
The decay of Faith and the waxing cold of Charity, this was how Christ described these days. As usual He is right. That is what is happening today. Faith and Charity is nowhere to be found. Because the pope and majority of the bishops are negligent of their duties; because they do not study St. Thomas of Aquinas' treatises on the priesthood and the obligation of perfection for the episcopacy. So we end up with bad a bad pope, bad bishops and bad priests. Of course, there are a few good ones; but most probably they are not the ones assigned to our diocese or parish.

Prove that God exists.

 1. The division going on.
God is, continuously, testing mankind. Christ warned us; 'he who does not confess Me before man, I will not confess before My Father in heaven.' When we are confronted with a truth from Divine Revelation, 'to confess Christ' is for us to say with our tongue that this is a truth from Christ, I believe in this truth, I intend to put into practice.
To be silent in the face of an issue with regard to the truth, or worse, to go against that issue is to refuse 'to confess Christ'. It is like saying 'this is not a teaching of Christ, I do not believe Christ taught this and I will not abide by it.' Christ threatens that He will not confess this soul before the Father. St. Thomas Aquinas wrote; 'when he dies and face God in judgment, He will say 'I do not know him.'  This is sure damnation.

2. Issues.
Statements are flying in the air these days that are forcing men to confess Christ or not to confess Him, to take the side of right Catholic doctrine or to go against Catholic teachings. And the confusion that reigns in the world in general and in the Catholic Church in particular is becoming very evident. The confusion is due to the prevailing ignorance of the Catholic Faith in the pagan world who have had the opportunity to know Scriptures but did not grab the opportunity; and among the Catholics who has not been well catechised  by their bishops and priest for centuries.
There is a need to disentangle the confusion with the help of the patron saint of this process, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and clarify the issues so we can take the side of truth.
3. Can anyone prove that God exist.
Not scientifically but in some degree philosophically.  Though St. Thomas gave the now famous 5 proofs of the existence of God. His proofs were in the natural level, proof of a god of nature  but cannot prove the existence of a Divine and supernatural God.
Definitely not through a selfie nor proofs for having seen Him or talked to Him.
St. Paul wrote, that we can only know the existence of the true God by a mature human act enlightened by the theological virtue of Faith. Those who are immature and not enlightened with the theological virtue of Faith cannot prove that God exist. And most people, priest and bishops do not have this Faith, as we shall show momentarily.

4. St. Paul
The existence of God can only be experience through an act of Faith. St. Paul described Faith as 'the substance of things to be hoped for, the evidence of things that appear not.' And saying the same thing, St. Thomas of Aquinas wrote;'Faith is a habit of the mind whereby eternal life is begun in us making the intellect assent to what is non-apparent.' 'That appear not' and 'non-apparent' show the impossibility of proving the existence of God.
God's existence is experienced by the spiritual faculties of the soul, the mind (a habit of the mind) and free will. Note that the faculties involved are spiritual and, therefore, cannot be perceived by the senses, and cannot be proven experimentally.
So the existence of God is experienced spiritually and not physically. Only the spiritual man can experience the existence of God. The sensual man cannot experience the presence of God.
So only the man of Faith can have the infallible proof of the existence of God. Those without Faith cannot have proof that God exist.

5. Only the man of Faith has proof of the existence of God.
The gift of Faith gives man the certainty that God exist. This certainty is a gift infused in the mind of  man who receive Faith. It is not given to unbelievers because he does not believe.

6. How can the man of Faith share that certainty of the existence of God with others.
By the wisdom in their  words and the example of their holy lives that comes from Faith. St. Paul described the Faith of the Romans thus; 'your faith is known throughout the world.' So people who experienced the Faith of the Romans were convinced that there is a god. Knowing this, they developed the 'fear of God' which is the beginning of wisdom. With wisdom they begun to do all things with wisdom, they did everything right and well, i.e.  perfect society. The Romans were considered the best Catholic community.
If here in the Philippines there are people with Faith, those around will develop the 'fear of God,' which is the beginning to wisdom. Thus they will begin to act with wisdom. They will do all things right and well. There will be less problems.
The politicians will work for the common good. Soldiers, police will not intimidate the populace, the youth will be convinced drug is a menace, husband will not cheat on their wives, business tycoons will help the poor, the government will house the victims of superstorms, squatters, the homeless, those living in cemeteries; and constructions companies will not cheat on construction materials in government projects. And bishops and priest will preach and show in their lives their Catholic Faith thus fostering in the minds of men a sure proof that there is a God; thus breeding in the hearts of men the fear of God, and all Filipinos will act with wisdom.

7. Why Duterte must stay in office.
Because the bishops are not showing through words and in their lives the Catholic Faith. So men are not sure God exists. There is no 'fear of God.' And there is no wisdom around, neither in Congress nor in the Bishop's conference.
So the question raised is a valid theological question; Does God exist. The problem is not in the question. The problem is that those who are supposed to give the answer, Catholic Bishops and priests, are not giving the answers.
So we need Duterte to discipline the soldiers and the police, to control the politicians, the punish the rebellions, eliminate the drug problem and occasionally to test the theology of the Bishops. St. Paul reminds us that the civil authority, precisely, was given to us by God to maintain peace and order when the bishops have completely failed to install the 'fear of God' among the people.

8. The defect
The problem is not so much that the question was raised 'can anybody prove God exist?' The problem is that the Catholic bishops cannot answer the question, just as the Pope will not  answer the 'dubia' after more than 600 days. Like father, like son.

9. Who can prove the existence of God?
The man of Faith who has the theological virtue of Faith, thus who believe that there is a God with certainty, is the only man who can prove that there is a God. But he can convince others that there is a God through his words and life filled with Faith. Seeing him thus, others will not necessarily see God but can be convinced that there is a God.
St. Paul praised the Roman that their Faith was well known around the world. So through the words and life of the Romans, the whole world was convinced that God exist. How come the President is asking for proof of the existence of God? Because he sees that those assigned to prove it has no Faith to express in their words and actions that there is a God.
If our Catholic bishops and priests have Faith, and if that Faith shows in their words and actions, there will no need for police, for army, for justices, no president, no congress; because the entire nations will behave. There will be no rebellions, no drug addicts, no drug lords, no adulterers, no abortionist, etc. Because everybody will know God exist and will have the 'fear of God,'' that will make everybody behave.
But because most of the bishops and priest have no Faith;  they cannot prove the existence of God, therefore, there is no 'fear of God' which is the beginning of wisdom. Everybody is acting without wisdom.......or stupidly?

 1. The commands and the 'proper order' in obeying them.
To be saved, we must love God. And 'love of God' consist in obeying His commands, 'If you Love Me, keep My commandments.' And the commandments of God are found in the Old Testament and in its perfect form in the New Testament.
There are three steps we must take with regards the commands of God. First, we must know His commandments. In summary form, 10 commands in the Old and 2 in the New.
Secondly, we must know the literal and mystical interpretation on how to put those commands into practice.
Thirdly, they must be obeyed in their 'proper order.' Amongst the three theological virtues, Faith must come first, then Hope and lastly Charity. Charity is unattainable without Faith.
In the two great commands, Love of God must come first before love of neighbour. Because neighbours must be loved the way God had loved us. So 'love of God,' the model,  must be obeyed first, before love of neighbour.
In the general 'plan of salvation,' repentance must be obeyed first before the act of Faith. In fact, Faith is just a reward for a perfect repentance. God is a god of order. He wants all men to follow Him in an orderly fashion.

2. Pagans
In His great goodness, God has made available to the pagans the first step; He has given all the ability to know His commands. Just read Scriptures. But God does not give them the second and the third; without which they cannot be saved. Though in very special cases God had given these two steps to a few, thus they are saved.  But in general, pagans don't even study the commands of God in Scriptures.

3. Protestants
Many Protestants know Scriptures better than Catholics. They have even memorised Chapters with their paragraphs and line. But as it says, 'even the devil knows Scriptures.' God, ordinarily does not give them the second and the third forms of knowledge. Though John Newman acquired the second and the third while he was still an Anglican.........which made him, in fact, a Catholic even before he was baptised a Catholic.

4. Catholics.
What makes a Catholic is knowledge and practice  of the commands of Christ; after having known both the literal and mystical meaning of the commands and after knowing and obeying those commands in 'proper order.'

5. The story of Adam and Eve. Their sin was they did not observe the  proper order.
God gave Adam and Eve a command; to eat of the fruits of paradise. But God, also, gave them the order on how to eat the fruits. They should begin eating of the 'tree of Life.' And, then, later on, eat of the 'tree of the Knowledge of good and evil.' Both trees are good. The 'tree of life' is good. And the 'tree of knowledge of good and evil' is, evidently, very good. To know good from evil is the very foundation of Christian education so that man may do good and avoid evil. It is moral theology. So why was Adam and Eve punished for eating the latter? Because they changed the 'proper order' given by God. They ate the second tree and was punished in that they were deprived of the first tree. That is man today. We do not follow the 'proper order' and follow our own order based on our personal desires and pleasures; and not following the order God had given.  This is a serious sin  punishable as the original sin committed by Adam and Eve.  Adam and Eve should have gone to hell except for the promise of the Saviour whom they waited for. That was what saved them, the expectation of the coming Messiah.

6. The proper order in today's Gospel. Wednesday and Thursday, 14th weekday in Ordinary Time.
The Gospels shows Christ teaching the 'proper order' on how to preach, which nobody is following today. That is why very few is being converted.
After the fall, God would create more souls. And they have to undergo the same test as that of Adam and Eve. God will give them commands and the 'proper order' on how to obey them. This time it will be a little more complex. While Adam and Eve had one command, only, we will have many commands. While Adam and Eve had to worry only on one 'proper order,' this tree or that tree, we will have a more complex 'proper order.' But we will have graces to aid us in our ordeal.
To make the story short, God gave us many commands; Old Testament and New Testament commands. That is, already, the initial test. We have commands from two Testaments. And we must observe the 'proper order' by obeying, first, the Old Testament commands and, only afterwards, obey the New Testament commands. But let us reduce the complication of this treatise and proceed to the New Testament.

7. The New Testament.
God gave many commandments; and He gave the 'proper order' on how to obey them. This is the first command to be observed, this the second and this is the third, and so on and so forth. These commands are available to all men. They are found in Sacred Scriptures. Anybody can obtain a copy of it (it has been translated in many languages, so everybody can read them.)
But God did not give the correct interpretation to all. Christ gave it to his first apostles. His apostles gave it to the first Christian communities. And the Fathers of the Church extracted these teachings from the first Christian communities and compiled it in what we call Tradition of the Catholic Church. So in some way it is available only to those who zealously search for the truth and true meaning of the Words of Christ. This is not taught in seminaries and theological schools, much more so in secular Catholic schools.
Very few bishops and priest know this interpretation of the Words of Christ as found in Scriptures. Pope Francis does not seem to know it, due to the hermeneutics of discontinuity he follows wherewith majority of the bishops and priests believe that the writings of the Fathers of the Church do not apply to the present era. As if to say.....souls today do not have to be saved because they can do it by themselves. That is worse than saying, 'Just say 'Jesus is Lord' and you are saved.'  Today you don't have to say anything to be saved.
While few know the commandments of Christ in the New Testament and fewer know the Fathers of the Church, absolutely nobody knows the 'proper order' in obeying those commands. Why?
When the evangelist wrote down Scriptures, Christ told them to jumble up His teachings so that those who are not truly seeking God will be confused so they cannot see the 'proper order' by which the teachings of Christ must be obeyed. Christ intentionally did that, according to St Augustine. The first step is found at the end of the Gospel, the last step at the middle and the middle at the beginning. It is impossible for the unbeliever to know the 'proper order' on how to obey the commands. Utterly impossible. And Christ made it that way. So only the true seeker of God can find Him.

8. The man of Faith.
Only those with Faith can know the complete  list of commands. Unbelievers can only know a part. Only believers can know the literal and mystical interpretation of those commands. Only believers can know the  'proper order' by which those commands must be observed. Thus the true man of Faith is one who has put into practice the teachings of Christ following these three steps, possible only with the help of God's grace.
So Christian education is learning how to get that grace instead of learning those three steps.
9. Religious founders.
Why did God raise up religious founders when the way of salvation had already been shown in the above three steps; namely, knowing the commands,  knowing its spiritual interpretation and knowing the 'proper order' of its execution? Because mankind always forget these three steps. So religious founders, like St. Benedict, St. Dominic, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Ignatius, St. Phillip Neri, St. John Viannery, etc. etc. were raised by God to remind us of the three above mentioned stages. And one of the clearest presentation of the above three steps was done by St. Benedict in his Holy Rule for monasteries. Nothing can be clearer. But even Benedictine don't read their rule as other order either.
These three steps are further confirmed by the complete cycle of the Liturgy, A, B and C. Both the Holy Rules and the Liturgy had been so distorted, it no longer serves it purpose
And so we have a Catholic Church who does know the complete commands of Christ, who does not know the literal and mystical interpretation of those commands....and does not know the 'proper order' on how to observe those commands. And the most outstanding example of this worldwide ignorance is shown by Pope Francis, the Catholic bishops conferences in the issue of immigrants.
The Vatican Church does not know the command on Charity, the very essence of the Catholic Church. They do not know the literal and spiritual interpretation on how to practice Charity. And they do not know the 'proper order' in practicing Charity. Neither Pope Francis, nor the US bishops, nor the European bishops, nor the South American bishops, nor the Philippine bishops.
Yet the 'proper order' of Charity is observed by Putin, Trump, the heads of Austria, Hungary, Poland, Italy and lately by Bulgaria. They did not quote Catholic Doctrine. But their national policy, i.e. US first, Russia first, Hungary first, Poland first, Italy first, etc... coincides with the true theological virtue of Charity as expounded by St.  Augustine and Thomas of Aquinas which states 'Charity begins at home.'

10, The 'proper order' in the observance of Charity.
St. Thomas showed the 'proper order' in showing Charity. Love God first, then your husband or wife, then your children, then your other relatives. Then, let us expand it to our townsman, our province mage, our own countrymen. Here we end with Russia, America, Poland, Austria, England, Bulgaria, Italy.....FIRST.
Let us go back in detail. It means the US must first solve its problem with trade balance, those discontented communist legislators, the corruption FBI and Justice system, the machinery of Soros, the remnants of Obama and Clinton, the Catholic bishops conference, the drug and opioid problem, the Federal reserve run by Jews, etc, etc.
After solving all its national problems which will not end during this lifetime, it is time to go abroad. As a Christian nation the US must first welcome Christians from the Middle East, from Africa, from South America. They must be first according to the 'proper order' of Charity. That should fill up the US with no space for anybody else. In the Philippines, after the government has solved the problem of the economy, the Spratly, the squatters, the garbage, the Filipinos living in cemeteries, etc., then it must proceed in receiving Catholic migrants from Syria, Nigeria, Nicaragua, Indonesia, etc. Catholics first, Charity demands.
So when Pope Francis refused to take in a Christian at Lesbos and instead took in non-christians, it showed his total ignorance of true Charity. His visit there was pure public relation gimmick.
The rule of Charity is; if there is nothing more to give, then you are not obliged to give.

11. This violation of the 'proper order' in the practice of Charity is a blatant violation of Catholic teaching. Why is the head of the
Church its main propagator? And why is her bishops their most zealous proponents? This is like a proposal for a husband to love his neighbours wife ahead of his own wife. It is plain adultery. And this issue on immigration proposed by Pope Francis and his followers, from Merkel to Macron, from Trudeau to May, is spiritual adultery....a term none of them have ever thought of because they are looking at it as a political view. They fail to see the spiritual consequence of this issue. No fault that they are ignorant. But Pope Francis should know better and yet he knows nothing about Charity and the order it should be observed. Not knowing the very essence of Catholicism. This is inexcusable. It is a mortal sin. Imagine how many are committing mortal sins due their stand on immigration. Oh, I am not a Catholic. Sorry, it is the law of the God who is going to judge you when you die.
Your punishment? Christ said; 'worse than Sodom and Gomorrah.

School of the Lord's service. Two MAJOR defects in the Church.

 1. A school of the Lord's service.
We are all acquainted with a good school setting. Essentially, there must be a good teacher and a good student. But there is a big difference between an ordinary school and a school of the Lord's service. The former have worldly goals, while the latter have heavenly goals. The former is aimed at serving mankind; the latter is for the service of God. So there are differences.
The final goal of the school of men is the common good, i.e. good politics. The final goal of the school of the Lord's service is the salvation of man's soul and the glory of God.
Both are needed. The former for natural happiness, the latter is essential for eternal happiness. The school of the Lord's service is the evangelisation of men as summarised in the last chapter of St. Matthew. Evangelisation was described by St. Matthew in his 'Apostolic Commission.' It was described by St. Benedict, in detail, in his  'School of the Lord's service,' which is the monastic life.
The monastic life is putting into practice the 'Apostolic Commission.' It is establishing the community that makes up the Catholic Church; it is the acquiring of the theological virtue of Faith that leads to Charity. It is meant for all for the salvation of their soul and to glorify God. It was lived by Christ during His 30 years of hidden lie. It is a life that must be hidden from the world, thus the classical term 'fuga mundo,' a fleeing away from the world well described by St. Augustine in his 'City of God.'
The process of evangelisation is the process by which good teachers and good students are produced. Teachers must be more perfect, while the students are less perfect.

2. The two elements of education.
We have seen the two important elements of education; a good teacher and a good student. The crisis in the Church today is due to the absence of both; there are no good teachers and no good students. When we say 'crisis in the Church,' we mean the problem of those who are outside the Church. What is that problem? They are still outside the Church, but they erroneously think they are inside the Church. Now, that is really a big problem. It is akin to the Pharisees who were great sinners but who thought they were righteous. Just an old problem continuing up to the present. Nothing new here.
The solution is very simple. Have good teachers and good students. But both solution is a wonderful work of God's grace. Unless God, Himself, solve it, it cannot be solved. Man, even with 10 Ecumenical Councils will not solve that problem. Pius the XII said so. That is why Pius XII rejected holding Ecumenical Councils to solve the Church's problems. He knew only God can solve the problems of the Church. It is a spiritual problems. We will need spiritual physicians.
The choosing of a good teacher and a good student are works of God's grace. People do not volunteer for such positions.

3. The Liturgy.
The post Easter Liturgy described Christ teaching, just like in a school. We see the problem in each Gospel......a good teacher and good and bad students; believers and non-believers.
From the beginning, the world have had false prophets, false teachers, false preachers, etc. That was a problem, then, with the teachers. There were many  bad teachers. So God, Himself, had to raise the good teachers in the good prophets. But even good teachers had a problem. The New Testament teachings were beyond their capabilities. Even St. John the Baptist, the best amongst the prophets was not good enough to teach the New Testament. So Christ, personally, had to teach to set an example.
Then Christ chose a set of new teachers, the apostles and trained them personally, by word and example, how to be good teachers. The training was impossible for any human being. The apostles had to be like gods, or at least to be like angels, to be good teachers. Even St. Augustine referred to such training as a school of angels.

4. The good teachers.
Good teachers were personally taught and chosen by God, Himself. The problem before was for those who were not taught and chosen by God, to pretend that they are good teachers. The true prophets and the apostles were good teachers. Today, we do not have such souls. We only have self appointed teachers or appointed by schools of theology or by ignorant bishops and incompetent Popes who forget they are mere men who cannot commission true preachers. Popes, bishops and priests are not automatically good teachers. Imagine those 'preachers of mercy' appointed by mere men with no training at all, sent all around to absolve all kinds of sin. Do you think it is working? Both elements of education are absent; the good teachers and the good students.
During the life time of Christ, since it was Christ Who was preaching, there was no problem with having a good teacher. The only problem in the Old Testament was false teachers and/or incomplete knowledge in the good teachers (like in the case of St. John the Baptist.) The incomplete knowledge was solved by Christ in the New Testament. The new well-trained apostles will continue the tradition of good teachers. How they were trained can be found in the spirituality of the entire Liturgical Year.
Christ raised, personally,  the first good teachers of the New Testament in the person of the apostles. Though one still turned out to be bad, Judas. The continuity of the training of good teachers became of paramount importance in the Catholic Church. There were, always, problems in the process of continuity. The continuity always broke. So there were many gaps in the history of the Church when there were no good teachers. These gaps tend to be prolong because to resume continuity is a work of God, not of men; that is why ecumenical councils and bishop's conferences are useless. As Ratzinger put it; it is just a social meet wherein bishops just slap each other's back.
Good teachers are provided by God as He sees fit. It depends on  the number of good students. God sees to the continuity in providing the Church with good teachers. The devil will, always, insert his human co-horts in between. But the Church will know which is which.
The heresy of the hermeneutics of discontinuity entered Vatican II and now rules the church with the Papacy of Pope Francis because men, and not God, is trying to dictate the direction of the continuity in the line of good teachers by inserting their bad teachers.  It is in being good students that man has a role. So let us concentrate more on this.
Christ is the one teaching through good teachers, not men. So nothing to worry though we are surrounded by very bad teachers. We will, always, hear the voice of Christ if we are good students. ' My sheep knows my voice.' If we are bad students, we will hear the countless voices of bad teachers.
God will send good teacher sdepending on the good students. God will not sent good teachers when there are no good students. As is happening all over Europe.

5. The good students.
The problem in the Old Testament that continued in the New Testament was that there were few good students....that is the human race. It was the problem from the beginning. It is still the problem today.
It will be noticed that whenever Christ would teach, it was obvious that there was a good teacher. But there were always two kinds of students; the good ones and the bad ones. The good ones, usually the disciple, always understood the teaching. While the bad students did not understand  anything. The good ones believed; the bad ones did not believe. It was always the scenario in all the Gospel description when Christ preached.
From the very same Gospel, it was shown why the good students believed and why the bad students did not believe. So we just have to imitate the good students.  In all the Gospels; we see a Good Teachers, then we see good and bad students.
The good and bad teachers are still there. The good and bad students are still there. Except that, today, we have much more bad teachers and much more bad students. We just have to limit ourselves in finding out who are the good teachers and good students and make sure we are amongst them.

6. How to be a good student.
Christ gave the formula; 'Learn from Me for I am meek and humble of heart.' That' s it and that is all. Meekness and Humiity are essentially identical. And there are twelve degrees of humility.
The first degree of humility is the 'fear of God' which will give us entrance into the Catholic Church. But that is only the entrance. Good teachers must, still, have to go deeper and reach the 12th degree of humility, that will be the beginnings of the theological virtue of Charity. Charity can only be improved and perfected in heaven.
A good student is one who works and aim, at least,  to attain the beginnings of the humility of Christ. This is a gift from God; it is given to students who are 'good,' as defined by St. Augustine. To receive this gift from God the student must believe in the true God. He must believe that this God sent His Son to become man to teach men the way to salvation. That this Son taught commands for men to observe. And he must 'fear' that if he does not observe these commands he will go to everlasting fire. Note the process to attain this 'fear.' This is not mere emotional fear. It is an act of the intellect. He knows that if he does not conform to a way life prescribed by this Omnipotent God, he will be punished for all eternity. This 'fear' does not exist in the world today. It does not even exist among Catholics. Since there are no good students God does not see the need to choose and raise good teachers. So we do not have good teachers and good students.
How can we have the 'fear of God,' which is the beginning of wisdom when Pope Francis and many bishops, like the vice President of the CBCPhilippines believe there is no hell. I guess because there is no wisdom amongst them from whence 'fear' proceeds. Will there  ever be good teachers in the future? In truth, there are right now.  But very few. Because there are very few good students. And they are holding their classes in some undisclosed the desert?

' I DESIRE MERCY. NOT SACRIFICE.' - First FRIDAY 13th week in Ordinary Time.

 1. The simple and advanced teachings of Christ.
Like in any learning session, Christ taught His teachings beginning with simple doctrines and then ending with the sublime doctrines. St. Paul, himself, described it as giving milk for beginners and solid food for the more mature ones.
So the teachings of Christ were given to us as milk during Advent in the 'life of repentance.' The more sublime doctrines, like Faith and Charity,  were taught during Lent and after Pentecost.
The teachings of Christ differs from the teachings of ordinary science in that the first simple teachings are Divine truths but using simple parables. While the advance teachings are teachings of Divine truths using advance theological concepts. It is really impossible to compare Divine Realities with natural realities. But we have to be satisfied with this comparison. Divine truths must be taught as divine Truths; for beginners in simple language. For the advanced in theological concepts. It is never minimised.

2. Before Christ preaches He performs a miracle.
Before Christ would present the object of Faith in His preaching, He would first present His credentials as God by performing miracles, like curing the sick or exorcizing possessed persons. The miracles are meant to make it easy for the listeners to believe. St. Paul wrote that; 'miracles are for unbelievers that they may believe.'
But in todays Gospel, there seems to be no miracle, like the curing of the sick or raising of the dead back to life.
What was presented was not for unbelievers; but for believers. And what was presented was the highest miracle - the conversion of St. Matthew. This surpasses all the miracles ever worked by Christ because it is the curing of body and soul.
The curing of sicknesses, the driving of devils and the raising of the dead back to life does not necessarily save the souls of the  recipient of the miracle. It does not. But in the case of Matthew, the miracle saved his soul and his household.

3. The miracle meant for believers is the forgiveness of their sins the salvation of their soul........ and the salvation of their household.
When Christ called St. Matthew, he was a publican and a rich man, i.e. a sinner and a rich man. We have seen how both are impediments to following Christ as in the case of the young rich man who was rich and in Judas who was a sinner.
4. What miracle happened to Matthew.
The miracle was performed by Christ on Matthew. Christ forgave his past sins and enabled him to obey the first commands of Christ in the New Testament. What is this command? Exactly the same first New Testament command He gave Peter, Andrew, James and John. Remember, the miracle is that Christ enabled Matthew to obey the first command of the New Testament.

5. The first command of the New Testament.
Nobody can obey this first command of the New Testament unless Christ, Himself, performs a miracle to enable him to obey this command. Obedience to this first command is the first mature act of Faith. It is the first step that brings man into the Catholic Church. What is this first command?
Christ told Matthew to go home, sell all his possession, follow Christ and use the proceeds to lead other souls to Christ. And Matthew, as the Gospel narrates,  was holding a party for some sinners so they can listen to Christ's teachings.
The narrative on Matthew ends with the Gospel saying that he believed with his household. Having Faith, Matthew and his household were saved. Now, let us step back for a while, put ourselves in the place of Christ and looking at Matthew. Christ said; 'I prefer mercy and not sacrifice.' Here in today's Gospel is  where mercy of Christ is a world of difference from the mercy of Pope Francis .

6. 'I prefer mercy and not sacrifice.'
Christ addressing Matthew said; 'Matthew, as an offering to Me, I want you to show mercy and not sacrifice. I want you to show mercy to yourself and show mercy to your neighbour. Not sacrifice. Show mercy to your own soul by saving your soul. And how do you save your soul? By going home selling all your things, giving it to the poor, and following Me. Do that and you are showing mercy to yourself and that is the offering that will make God save your soul.
But wait a minute. There is another thing you must, also, do. Be merciful to your neighbour, too. How? Use your earnings and invite sinners to a party so they can learn the first commandment of the New Testament, directly, from Christ. Who, hopefully will perform the same great miracle of enabling them to go home, sell all your things, give it to the poor and follow Him.
So that on their part, after selling all their things, they can use the proceed to hold their own parties, invite sinners so they can learn this first New Testament command. With the hope that Christ will, also, enable them to be merciful to their own soul by going home, sell all their things, give it to the poor and follow Christ.
Again, the great miracle Christ performed is that He enabled Matthew to have mercy on his own soul by giving him the grace to be able to go home, sell all his possession, use the proceeds so others can have mercy on their own souls and eventually for all to follow Christ.

7. The merciless Pope Francis and his church.
Pope Francis' concept of mercy is the exact opposite of the mercy Christ was preaching. Pope Francis mercy is for adulterer to continue committing adultery, for atheist to remain atheist, for gay to continue enjoying being gay, for homos and lesbians to continue enjoying being as they are. Pope Francis is encouraging sinners to remain in their sin and even continue to sin more as when he tells the Jews to continue in their deicide, for Protestants to continue being Protestants. He is encouraging all sinners not to show mercy on their souls but to mercilessly bring their souls to the eternal fires of hell.
Pope Francis and his church who love to pretend to be merciful is completely devoid of mercy. He has shown absolutely no mercy on the souls of people in the world and especially the souls of Catholics in that he has never taught how we can show mercy on our souls and, thus, save it. Definitely, he has not told anyone to leave the good things in life, give it to the poor and follow Christ.
How can he tell us to give up the good things in life when he has not even told us to give up our sins. How can he tell us to follow Christ when he, himself, is disobeying and telling us to disobey the commandments of Christ, like in 'Amores laetitia.'   Pope Francis has not shown mercy on himself and is not encouraging us to show mercy on ourselves.  The miracle that happened to Matthew had not happened to Pope Francis and is not happening to us.  He even refused to give up his Argentine passport to replace it with a Vatican passport. Anyone who cannot give up his pass port will not be able to give up anything.
This is the state of affairs of most Catholics. Of course, this miracle have occurred to a few today. But not to most bishops and priest and religious who have not sold all things; but merely left them home when they entered the seminary or convent. No, you must sell all, give it to the poor or use all, so others can learn how to do the same.
Secondly, mercy consist, not only in being merciful to oneself, but, also, being merciful to others by  teaching them how to be merciful to their own souls by, again, going home, selling all their possession, giving to the poor and following Christ.
Having taught others how to be merciful to themselves, they must, also, be taught how to be merciful to others by teaching others those steps Matthew took.

GODS FINAL TEST - If we love Him.

 1. God had always tested everybody to find out if they love Him. It begun with the Angels. Then Adam and Eve. And today, you and me. The test, St. Thomas wrote, is for us to know if we love God or not. Of course, God knows the answer; but we do not know the answer.  So God's test is for us to know the answer and do something about it if we do not love him. God allows the devil to do some of the testing by turning man's mind and heart to the love of everything except God;

2. The story.
We have heard the story about Pope Leo XIII who described the devil talking to God to allow him some years to test men, precisely, so men can find out if he loves God or not. God is loved naturally by all men but man has a free will. He can change his mind and will.....and refuse to love God and love sin, instead. And there is a last final examination that ends all tests, described by St. Bonaventure as the 6th day, the day before the Sabbath rest.  It is the 6th day based on the 7 days of creation; and the 6th day, Good Friday,  foretells the present age. And like Good Friday we can describe it in one phrase, the devil has been given by God a time to rule the world. Just like Good Friday. Just like 2018.
Pope Benedict, who made his second thesis on St.Bonaventure's
theology of history described it in a Christmas sermon as 'the unstoppable decline of civilization.' We see this decline in the world today, like in the US, where man has descended below the natural level, into bestiality losing all civility and humanity. It can no longer be described as world wide neurosis or psychosis. It is spiritual possession by the devil, of which Judas was the type. Of which Putin, Trump, Orban and Salvini, etc. form a brief respite in the decline before it reaches rock bottom. It won't return up anymore because God allowed Satan to be in charge, we don't know how long; as Pope Leo said and as prophesied in Matthew.

3. The rule of Satan.
During this era, Satan will possess the majority of men, women and children spiritually, just like Judas. This spiritual possession is not noticeable even by exorcists nor the apostles. Only Christ would notice them.
The human race is foretold in the Gospel describing the two men possessed by the devil and living in the tombs. St. Thomas writes, the two men represents the Jew and the Gentiles. Loving the world they are like dead men dwelling in the tombs.  Only Christ can exorcise them.  They will exude the following diabolical spirit.
First, the devil is the father of lies, souls possessed by the devil will be pathological liars, This will be seen in the mass media, in school curriculums, in TV and radio, in all sciences, in all human departments and organisations. The world will be in total darkness because it will be filled with lies. The truth shall be like a few fireflies in the dark, whispered amidst the liars. Hardly noticed. All religions will be teaching lies. Even purportedly the catholic religion will lie, just like the Pharisees on Good Friday (because the true Church will be hidden just like the apostles who were hiding for fear of the Jews.)
The true God and the true religion cannot teach lies because God is the creator of reality. And truth is conformity with reality.

Secondly, the spirit of murder. Satan is a murderer. Abortion, euthanasia, wars, terrorism, all kinds of killing is from the devil .........except the act of self defence and the power of the sword by which God gives heads of state the authority to impose capital punishment. God is the creator of life. He can take life in death; but He will ever command any human to take anyone's life. His religion, therefore, must be very pro - life.

Thirdly, love of money is the root of all evil and this spirit is diabolical. The devil moved Judas to betray and murder a god for money. The Jews had been confirmed in this sin and have not been able to repent for it, since then up to the present. And where do you think that root is planted? In the very heart of Satan.
Those who are behind all the lies in the mass media, in politics, in education, in religions and churches; those who are behind all the killings in the world.......are people who love money. They are people who love to be rich. Today, all things are done for money. Even wars are waged to earn money. The daughter of love of money is treason. Judas betrayed Christ for money. Your family, co-priest, co-religious, co-Catholic will betray you for money.

Fourthly, the devil is the spirit of fornication that includes all sins of sexual perversions. It is a sin that, especially , comes from Satan. He knows it is the easiest sin to bring souls to hell. Simple fornication, adultery, incest, homosexuality, lesbianism, child molester, transgenderism and the other perverted lustful acts; these are expressions of the spirit of the devil. Any attempt to make them repent must include some form of exorcism. Otherwise it will not work.
This diabolical spirit is very much present in the Vatican Church and has filled the halls of the Vatican. It has filled seminaries, religious communities, bishop's conferences, the priesthood, the families and the children. It is advertised in the media and looks straight at us from every billboard. It is even in the murals of the chapels of cardinals.

4. This spirit of Satan have entered the Vatican; the lies, the fornication, the love of money and the spirit of murder ( in proposing certain forms of population control.) We can even pin point where they are in the Vatican.

5. The spirit of Satan described in Matthews Gospel.
The Gospel of Matthew puts together the different spirits of Satan in a paragraph; 'they shall deliver you, afflict and kill you, and hated by all. For only one reason, because you are obeying the commands of Christ.
This shows in the hatred of entire nations towards their leaders that has arisen tending towards the 'common good,' the US against Trump; the western world against Putin; Europe against Poland, Hungary, Austria; Pope Francis and EU against Italy.
The Gospel continues; 'many shall betray and hate one another.' Parent against children, children against parents, in-laws against in-laws. People against their own people, Democrats against Republicans, FBI against the Americans, Chinese against Chinese, Popes against bishops, bishops against priest, Vatican against religious communities.
The Gospel continues; 'and many false prophets shall deceive many.' These are people who claim God speaks to them or pretends that God had spoken to them. There are thousands. But the most deceitful are the ones inside the Vatican church. Many in the Vatican  are pretending that they are spokesmen of God but are teaching false doctrines thus deceiving many into believing there is no hell.
'Iniquity will abound.' Since the majority of men will be possessed by the devil, the world will be flooded with sin.
'The love of many shall wax cold.' We have seen Pope Benedict XVI writing 'Deus Caritas Est,' because he said that most Catholics do not know what is true Christian Charity; of course he was referring to cardinals and bishops who have failed to teach charity to their constituents. But Charity is necessary to enter the Catholic Church and heaven. Does this mean that hardly anybody is entering the Church and heaven? Yes, that is what he meant.
There is a place where bishops and priest who have retired go and feel at home. It is a private place. We know the situation of retired priests and bishops. They are old, sickly, need a lot of physical help which entail much expenses, and almost with no savings. Their own relatives are old, most have died and their grand children are married and are working with little time for them. No one, really, is available to care for them. The Diocese have token helps that make their retired bishops sad and depressed. Because there is no spiritual support and  progress in their retirement houses. So they go to this private place that shows traditional Benedictine hospitality.  The bishop of the place forbade bishops and priest to go there. For no reason. Because bishops and priest insisted in going there for obvious reasons, the bishop of the place convinced the entire Bishop's conference to impose the prohibition. This bishops conference will not lift a finger to help these retirees. No corporal help; no spiritual help. No works of mercy. And yet, they will prohibit others to help.  Why do they behave this way? The love they should have for one another is totally gone. The spirit of Satan, indeed, rules the world.

SAINT THOMAS, The Apostle who doubted.

 1. Feast of St. Thomas.
The feast of St. Thomas the Apostle is celebrated during that time in the Liturgical Season (13th week in Ordinary Time) when Holy Mother the Church had been teaching the Church how to perfect her Faith.
To attain Everlasting Life we must have Faith, Hope and Charity. These are theological virtues which men, by himself, cannot attain even in the seminary, even in the best theological schools like Bologna, Gregorianum or Sant'Anselmo. It is exclusively gifts from God. Faith is given to those who have repented well. And Charity is given to those who have perfect Faith.
We just have to see to it that we reach some degree of Faith; let Christ help us perfect that Faith with the help His grace  and with our cooperation. Then God grants us the virtue of Charity that enables us to love God and neighbour.
Hope and Charity are exclusively God's gifts. Perfect Faith is also God's gift but needs our cooperation. The last lessons of the Liturgy, therefore, is the attainment of perfect Faith. The story of Jairus shows imperfect Faith; while the woman with the issue of blood shows perfect Faith.
The Liturgy shows St. Thomas with imperfect Faith and then the same Thomas with perfect Faith......but with special helps. Then Christ states; 'blessed are you if you do not have this special help,' i.e. to see to believe. We must believe, simply. because Christ said so. As long as we are certain that Christ said so, then we must believe.

2. Gullibility vs the demand for too much proofs.
St. Thomas of Aquinas warns us about two sins against Faith; first, gullibility for easily believing even without proofs. And secondly, when we demand too much proofs.
Gullibility is a sign of the absence of Faith. The punishment to people without Faith is that they will believe anything and every thing. The sin of the entire world today is gullibility.  They will believe fake news, all advertisement, all lies, all opinions, all gossips, all religions......anything and everything. In this state man is no longer using his mind or intellect. He refuses to judge. He ceases to be a rational animal.
St. Thomas writes that this is the punishment for those who do not believe. St. Thomas the Apostle was not guilty of this.

On the other side of the spectrum are those who demand too much proof. We may demand much proofs on other matters as in experiments; but in the case of Faith, the moment it is proven that 'God said so,' we stop demanding proofs and believe.
But it is not enough to believe that 'God said so.' We must, also, know what God really means with what He said. The former is found in Scriptures, the latter is found in the writings of the Fathers of the Church. Today's feast only teaches us the first, believing because 'God said so.'

3. 'God said so.'
Christ said He would rise from the dead after His crucifixion. The apostles heard that; but they soon forgot it during their Good Friday test from God. It was alright that during that existing situation they could have forgotten what Christ said.
But the women reminded them what Christ said. They should have remembered what Christ said and believed that He had risen. This did not happen. The apostles, again, reminded them what Christ said. But they did not believe.
Thomas should have believed what Christ said when the women and the apostles reminded him what Christ said. His belief must be in what Christ said and not what the women and the apostles reminded him. It is not Faith to believe because men said so. It must be because Christ said so.
It is not Faith if, today, we believe that Christ is God because the preachers told us. No. Faith is when we believe that Christ is God  because Christ said so as preached by the preachers. Faith is not because the preacher said so; but because Christ said so.

This was Thomas' lack of Faith. He forgot what Christ said, even though the women and the apostles reminded him what Christ said. The lack of Faith of the Church is because most members have forgotten or never knew what Christ said. An empty mind devoid of perfect Faith. Thomas' Faith was imperfect. Christ will help him to perfect it.

4. Thomas' defect is demanding too much proofs from Christ.
Christ had already said, He will rise from the dead. He should have remembered that, but he forgot. The women and the apostles reminded Thomas what Christ said. That should have been more than enough. But still, Thomas demands to touch His wounds. That was asking too much proof before making his act of Faith. And Christ corrected him for this latter fault, not for his former fault. 'Blessed are you who believe though you do not see. ' Thomas, with his previous imperfect Faith, made his perfect act of Faith with the aid of Christ.

5. Today's sin.
Today's sin is infidelity. Most men and even most Catholics do not believe. From Pope Francis, to most Cardinals and most Bishops do not believe because they forgot or never knew the commandments of Christ. Clearly Pope Francis forgot that adultery is forbidden, that adulterer cannot receive Holy Communion, that there is a hell, that atheist go to hell, that St. Paul wrote that all other religions are from the devil, that Charity begins at home (like America first for Americans, France first for the French, Germany first for the Germans, love you wife first before loving you concubine. Forgetfulness or ignorance of these doctrines is a serious sin against Faith.
Because of this forgetfulness, like the forgetfulness of Thomas, the world today have no Faith; or it has a dead Faith. Like the faith of the devil, who believes but trembles. Forget Pope Francis, most of the bishops and most of the priests. How is the state of our Faith? Is it as bad as that of Thomas who completely forgot what Christ said so? And could not regain it even if reminded at every Sunday Mass? Definitely, it is not as demanding as Thomas' who required more proofs, because this exaggerated demand comes from souls extra zealous to know God.......but unhealthy zeal.
Christ, in today's Gospel reminds us to remain at the centre, in the middle. And St. Thomas wrote; 'don't easily believe without proof. Don't demand more if given sufficient proof.

6. The demands of the hierarchy.
Pope Francis says there is no hell. Prove it! I am not gullible. Otherwise, I don't believe it. The Bishops tells us to demonstrate against the government. Is that God's Will? Prove it. Otherwise I won't go. Because I read 'Mirari Vos' the encyclical that states that demonstration is not Christian teaching. It is godless, communist teaching.
The bishops love to blame government for what they subjectively perceive as 'defects.' Prove it. If you cannot, keep quiet and spend more time praying which is the Bishop's first duty. The US bishops say that the US walls is not charity. But St. Thomas in the Summa wrote that Charity begins at home, maybe later on with strangers when all home problems have been solved. Prove that receiving migrants is priority over problems of the Americans. Otherwise  to change the order of Charity is a serious sin. The migrants are forcing the host countries to sin; and many of the US Bishops are scandalously forcing their flocks to sin. Hmmmm. Wolves in sheep's clothing or blind leading the blind? Either way, I won't obey them for Christ said; 'obey God rather than men.'

7. We begin with weak Faith.
We all begin with a weak Faith. This weak Faith can easily be lost. A storm and not winning in the lotto can take away this weak Faith. Both the Liturgy and St Thomas, in his commentary, have overemphasized the importance of perfecting that Faith. Because God will not give us the theological virtue of Charity, which will qualify us for heaven,  unless our Faith is perfect. This Faith must improve and become perfect. And Christ showed us in today's Gospel how He perfected Thomas' Faith with his cooperation.
Christ perfected Thomas' Faith while the apostles were in a room with locked doors. The room with locked doors is the type of the life of silence, solitude and asceticism where God communicates with man. 'Come and see. Touch Me and see that I am your Lord and your God.' There was nobody else in the room except men of Faith. At first Thomas was not one of them. But to be part of the Church, Thomas had to perfect his Faith which he did with the help of Christ. No christian is Catholic unless he has perfect Faith and, at least, the beginnings of Charity.

The FOURTEENTH Mark of the TRUE CATHOLIC CHURCH. St. Robert Bellarmine.

 1. All men can know which is the true Church.
Man was created in the image and likeness of God, i.e. with a mind and a free will.  Man, with his human nature can know the true God and the true Religion. And he can chose to worship the true God and join the true religion. All men can do this. But because he has  a free will, man can do otherwise.  Man, surely, knows the true God and the true Church; but he can chose the wrong god  and the wrong religion. And that is what man had been doing through history.
Because man can know the true God and the true Church, any man who opposes in any way, the true God and His true Church will be subject to the wrath of God by having 'an unhappy end' and eternal damnation in the life after,' says St. Robert Bellarmine.
This is God's wrathful punishment to those who oppose the true God and true Church. And this punishment is a visible sign you have opposed the true Church of God.

2. Sin against the Church.
To sin against the Church is to sin against any member of the Church, anyone who has the theological virtue of Faith.  And it is serious because Christ said that whatever 'you do to the Church you do to Me.' Even the slightest sin is serious, primarily, because of the dignity of the Person opposed by the sin, is God Himself. When you call a bishop who has Faith stupid, you sin against God. When you call a bishop stupid who does not have Faith, it is like just calling a cat stupid. And as Christ prophesied, most bishops have no Faith.
At present everybody, including Catholics, do not have the skill to recognise the true Church, and they do not know what is sinful having lost the sense of sin.  Due to the strong tendency of original sin,  there is a danger for everyone to oppose the Church, thus be condemned in having an 'unhappy death' and eternal damnation after.
To avoid being victim of this condemnation, Christ gave the Church four visible signs by which she can be recognised; One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic. These signs were expanded by St. Robert Bellarmine and used by Vatican II as basis for the document
'Lumen Gentium.' Inspite of this document, most Catholic cannot recognise the Church in the man or woman of Faith; and neither can many priests and bishops establish the Church in their parishes and Dioceses....and even in the Vatican. Misuse of one's intellect and free will and consequently failing to recognise the true Church, man tend to oppose the truth and the good; thus deserving of 'unhappy death and eternal damnation.'
When such souls have an unhappy death and find themselves in hell, then they will realise that they have opposed the true Christian community. But everything is too late.
To avoid committing such mistake we must, at least, know how to recognise the man of Faith in the true Christian community, even if we do not join it; so we can avoid opposing it. 'God avenges the blood of his servants and brings retribution upon their enemies.'
The Fathers of the Church has an entire book 'On the persecutors of the Catholic Church.' It begins with Pharaoh; Dathan and Abiron, the first schismatics. Jezebel, Antiochus and Pontius Pilate. King Herod who died gushing out worms. Nero, Domitian who persecuted Christians were cruelly killed either by themselves or by others. Trajan was struck with a dreadful paralysis and died from dropsy.  The whole Jewish nation for crucifying Christ.
3. The opposition to the Church.
To oppose means to force a man of Faith to go against the commands of God as found both in the Old and New Testament. Any disobedience to God's commands is always very serious, because of the dignity of the Person opposed. The same sin committed against persons of lesser dignity can be less serious. Opposing God is identical to opposing the Church and opposing a man/woman of Faith. Since Faith is spiritual, the unspiritual man will be completely ignorant of this and can very easily commit this sin.  When a man opposes the Church, God will notify him through his intellect. Thus his opposition becomes with full knowledge.

Majority of men, from political leaders, to doctors, to actors, commentators, ordinary laymen but especially bishops, priests and even Pope Francis are opposing the Church today. It is Good Friday repeating itself. The Romans, the Jews, the priests and high priests, even one apostle opposed Christ. On that day, nobody was exempted...they all opposed Christ. Even Peter betrayed Him and the other apostles abandoned Him. The devil seems to rule that day. That was what everybody thought. In truth God was in complete control.

4. Good Friday was only a type of what is going to happen today.
Good Friday was a test for the Romans, the Jews and the apostles. We must pass this test, too,  and by all means, avoid opposing the Church as the Roman, the Jews and Judas did.  The God you oppose might be the true God. And He might just fulfil the dreadful threat He had made for those who oppose the Church. Play safe. This 14th Mark of the Church could be true. Coming from St.Robert Bellarmine, a Jesuit saint and Doctor of the Church, it could certainly be true.

5. Pope Francis and all the Francis appointed bishops, all the recent appointees in the Curia, majority of the member of the bishop's conferences around the world (especially in the US, the Philippines, Germany, France, England, Ireland, Canada, etc. had made statements opposing the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Pope Francis and many bishops had  suppressed good religious communities, from the Franciscans of the Immaculate to the Priestly Confraternity of the Holy Apostles. Bishops had suppressed monasteries like Mariavalt and convents of nuns. These are communities that show true Catholic spirituality. There are pagan and communist regimes who suppress the Church in their territories with the approval of the Vatican, like in China. The horrible African return to primitive savagery in their attempt to disseminate the Catholic Church there. Regimes in Ireland, England, and the US especially under Obama and Hilary, France under Macron and Canada under Trudeau. The pagan regimes oppose  the Church around the world.
And the thousands of laymen who impose their selfish desires upon the true Christian community oppose the Church; from parents who oppose the entrance of their children to convents and monasteries or dictate to superiors how their children should be treated.  All opposition against the Church can be defined in short as disobedience to the commands of God of which everybody is ignorant of. We can practically expect who we shall see in hell. But we hope we can see these souls in hell while we are in Abraham's bosom.
We are reminded by St. John Chrysostom who said; 'the floors of hell is paved with the skull of bishops. Good Friday is upon us once again where the entire Chosen people were against their Saviour Christ; today practically most of the Catholic hierarchy will be opposing the true Church. Where the High priest and the Sanhedrin with Judas, one of the first bishops, betraying Christ, we will have Pope Francis and his appointed FrancisBishops going against the teachings of Christ. Where the Roman were unjust to Christ, the secular world will oppose the Church under the influence of the Vatican Church. Our age will look like Satan is ruling the day like on Good Friday.

6. The Cyrus and Josiahs.
Rays of light amidst the darkness. Every time the Jews were unfaithful to God, God would deprive them of prophets and leaders thus leaving them in the dark. But when the spiritual leaders are the unfaithful one, then God raises up secular leaders to announce precisely that there are no longer any spiritual leader in the land.
That is God's announcement today. Most of our spiritual leaders in the Catholic Church are lost. We are having our Cyrus and Josiahs. Cyrus is a pagan king while Josiah was a Israelite king who led the people to God.....for a while.
Today, God had raised secular leaders to lead the people to God; a sure sign that the religious leader had become unfaithful shepherds. These leaders will lead in the realm of politic and natural theology only. They are not saints but will show lots of common sense that will surpass the Catholic hierarchy including Pope Francis. They will not lead in the level of the spiritual. Only the level of politics and philosophy. And good politics working for the 'common good.' And they will be opposed being God's instrument to create an atmosphere for a life of repentance.
Cyrus of Persia gave freedom to the Israelites and returned the treasures of the temple including the Ark. Josiah showed great love for his people. Today this kind of leaders had been raised by God, not by men; as He always do in times of crisis of Faith. The bad bishops act like Pharisees, the Pope acts like Judas and the good priests and bishops act like the cowardly apostles.
There will be a very, very few that will behave like Mary and John, who visibly stood by Christ. Very, very few. But there will be. The most infallible sign that the Catholic hierarchy has become as corrupt as the Jewish priest and that society has become as ungodly as the Roman and the Jews is......when God, not men, raises up men like Cyrus and Josiah. And such men are now rising up with exactly the same characteristics. All politicians to benefit the Church. Putin of Russia, Donald Trump of US, Duterte of the Philippines, Orban of Hungary. There are politicians in Austria, Poland, and there is one in Italy who even believes that the Pope is Benedict and not Francis.
These secular leaders are being opposed by the entire world. The whole western world is against Putin, the only leader who had done the impossible Catholic doctrine in uniting Church and State. The entire US bureaucracy  and most of the Catholic bishops are against Trump who is obviously working for the common good of Americans. The entire EU are opposing Hungary and Poland for observing the right order of Charity. And most of the International organisation with the help of Catholic bishops are opposing Duterte for his sentence constructions. To speak well is not necessary for governance. OK, they are not saints. But they have more natural theology than many of the so-called Catholic bishops.
And they should get together. Get out of all these international pressure groups like the UN which is controlled by Satan, decide issues with the help of God; and without consulting Pope Francis and the bishops. Keep in mind that Josiah was killed with the permissive will of God as Christ, the Son of God was killed. Your assassination is, also, in the plan of the oppositions. Obey God only, for that is your salvation.  Don't think of revenge. Leave that to God, as this 14th Mark states. Without knowing it, You are the Church that is why you are being opposed. But definitely, oppose evil.

7. The opposition.
The good will always be opposed just because it is the good.  Evil is usually entertained in the Vatican; even Martin Luther is there. But woe to you for opposing the good. For as St. Robert Bellarmine wrote, whatever is good is Catholic. To oppose the good is to oppose the Catholic Church. To oppose the Catholic Church is to oppose God. And woe to you if you oppose God. He will see to it that you die a bad death and thrown straight to hell. I did't say it. And Bellarmine was just quoting Scriptures, the Word of God.
Oppositions are test from God. God is still in control. But this test, like all tests, will be for a short only. Those fine leaders will be there for a short time only, like Josiah. Then comes the rewards and the retributions.
